Job To flush heating system. Had 1 quote already and was recommended to fix a problem with the boiler however I would also like a second opinion.

Comment This company was first class. After having several people look at the boiler, Christian was the only engineer to spend time trying to diagnose the problem. He talked through everything he was doing and why. After the problem was found they then phoned around and got the best deal on the part. We arranged a time and date for fitting, but Lewis was running late, so i was contacted by Kelly in the office and emailed with a new time. I was left informed at every point. Clean and tidy workers. Budget Under £500

Job We have a gas central heating system with a Valliant Ecotec Plus boiler. Since it's installation 3-4years ago it has never been particular good at keeping room temperatures ambient generally too cold. Of late the boiler keeps tripping out and shows F23 error code on the digital read out. I keep having to override this to get it to work but this is obviously not great. We have had the pump changed recently but this has had no effect. I need someone to investigate and fix the problem.

Comment Four years after installation of new heating system and various attempts by other plumbing/heating engineers to get it working properly LVG diagnosed the problem immediately and took appropriate action to cure it. Really really impressed by the way they went about the job and how they kept us informed. Thank you so much Lee and Paul. Don't have to wear a coat indoors any more ! Stephen

Job Yearly service proir to work being needed to stop a small leak

Comment Called Rated People on 3 Jan & got a call from a tradesperson within an hour. They were able to send a heating engineer within 2 more hours .His name was Dale & he did a fantastic job by servicing our boiler -the main reason for calling them in-he also fixed a small leak whilst he was here & cleaned up afterwards. Dale is a very capable young man & we were impressed by his attitude & skills. The final price for this top service was also slightly LESS than our own insurance company had quoted for this work! WELL DONE to GasExcel for the fast response & overall service. Peter

Job Summary: Remove current boiler and hot water cylinder and dispose of. Install a condensing boiler in new location subject to site survey. Re-position and re-connect heating and domestic hot and cold water services. Install associated boiler control and room thermostat. Create a tiled shower cubicle in former boiler/cylinder cupboard using a reconstituted stone tray with glass door and cubicle light. Supply and fit new shower fittings. Contractor must be CORGI registered and electrical work subject to the issue of a compliance certificate.

Comment If there was a TV programme called "Tradesmen from heaven" then Home Heating Limited would fill the star role. The company did what it said it would do for the price we agreed. The standard of workmanship was high—as was the finished installation. The job progressed promptly and was concluded in a timely manner. Home Heating's employees were tidy, polite and helpful. Carpets were protected and the work area cleared and tidied at the end of each day. It was clear Home Heating knew they were working in someone's home and not on a building site. I was kept informed of progress and Home Heating employees arrived when they say they would. The job was a masterclass in consumer/tradesmen relationships. Would I use them again? You betcha! Bob

Budget I'm not sure

Job Model Number RSF 84ET-RSF100ET Installed 4 years ago. Timer replaced. Hot Water only not working and heating cuts out. Boiler recently relocated need to check complies, plus above problems.
