To replace 6 'convector' style radiators with standard flat panel radiators. Replace associated micro-bore pipework with 'standard' pipework. Radiator sizes (based on size of room and BTU/HR requirement) 1 Double 700x1400mm (lounge) 1 Double 700x1000mm (upstairs - bedroom 1) 1 Single 600x1400mm (bedroom 2) 2 Single 700x900mm (kitchen and bedroom 3) 1 Single 700x800mm (hall) NB Bathroom already has flat panel radiator each to be supplied with thermostatically controlled valve with the proviso that one needs a drainage point (kitchen). The property is a chalet bungalow style (built 1960 approx.) with a backbone of 'standard' pipework with manifolds providing for connection with the current radiators via micro-bore. The 'backbone' is in the loft (at the side of the upstairs bedroom) and is accessed via a door in the side wall of the bedroom. The micro-bore pipework radiates down directly to the lounge and kitchen, and underneath the floor of the upstairs bedroom to other radiators. The current boiler is a Baxi Solo 2 50 PF (50,000 BTU rating) which should be sufficient as there will also be a gas fire in the lounge.
A good job done in a professional and friendly manner. All our micro-bore radiators and pipework replaced quickly and efficiently, with the new system up and running with little fuss, and all within time and at a compettive price. Will certainly use them again.
