Change a boiler from conventional to combi. Change pipework under chipboard to suit the combi boiler standards. Remove hot water cylinder tank, and cold water tank.
Adema UK has changed my 20 year old boiler with a new Vaillant boiler, which i was told never will fit in the cupboard. Dimitre is a meticulous person, who is an expert gas engineer and an excellent tradesmen. He recommended where to buy parts, and sent me links to the websites I could get a Vaillant boiler most efficient price, and installed in the timescales he promised. He also explained all options I had to decide upon. Great tradesmen, i will recommend to everyone, and will work with Adema UK again.

Consultation/Repair/Modication Our Boiler… Vaillant turbomax VUW GB 242/1E, 282/1E …no idea how old, efficient, good it is. Hasn’t been maintained by insurance but whenever theres a problem I have called someone to look at it (lower pressure once and had its pump replaced about a year ago) and managed it ourselves. All our radiators except 1 have thermostatic radiator valves – they pump out good heat – its just our insulation isn’t very good so we loose a lot of heat out of sash windows and floorboards so the rooms don’t get that hot in winter unless every room is on. I think our timer on the boiler is broken because no matter how I set it – if the radiators are on in the flat then this overrides the timer. The problem being that we have often left them on and gone to work thinking that by having the timer on and the value switched to OFF that those rooms wouldn’t get heated. Having had a few days off over winter Ive experienced first hand that the heating comes on when we are both at work – costing us. Im keen to ensure we get heating when we are in the house. So I suspect that the boiler timer is broken. Another idea is I wondered how individual room thermostats fitting into a few rooms would work and have that regulated by a more advanced system. Our heating bill is £180, from £70 when we moved in 2 years ago. At this stage I just need a consultation, as I don’t know what work is needed, but then there should be a second round of work to quote for. Anyone interested in doing this work?
Thanks Chris! Called me straight away after I posted the job, came around and had a look "for free" - he recognised the problem and offered a number of solutions and we came to a decision on how to proceed. He ordered the parts, came around the next day (saturday) and fixed the boiler & installed a thermostat. He helped us with all questions we had about how to get the best out of our current system as well - and we have his number for future to come service the boiler. Very pleased with the service and the time he spent answering our questions, a nice guy to boot, highly recommended.

John came over at very short notice and fixed my boiler with the minimum of fuss, lucidly explaining the process before he carried out the job and throughout. Even took time out to look at my broken light switch, which he wasn't getting paid for! Excellent service.

The digital timer for the central heating system is not longer working. I am uncertain if this is a problem with the timer or the electricity supply to it. Currently the display is completely blank suggesting that there is not power. I therefore wonder if this is a job for a electrician.

Just need them making safe, I will dispose of. Also one pre capped pipe upstairs to be moved under floor board, and providing gas supply for future kitchen appliance.
Cliff came round at short notice and did the job of capping three fireplaces on the spot, very informative, explaining exactly what he was doing, and explained the gas supply generally, would definately hire again.

I'm not sure
We have a Vokera Excell 80SP boiler which we want to replace to enable us to sell our flat (no one will service it they say we need a new one). We want to get the cheapest deal possible whether that is under the government scrappage scheme or by installing a cheaper boiler. Quotes / recommendations would be great.
Really pleased with the work conducted. They came to quote the job the same day as it had been posted. The quote was very competitive and they managed to fit us in to do the work very quickly despite obviously being very busy. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone else.

Unsold Job, Updated Details : The way that the Pulsacoil Boiler is supposed to work is that it should heat up overnight to fill up 80% of the boiler & then come on during the day to heat up the other 20%. We are moving into a property (built c. 1985) and the surveyor has identified some concern over the services, specifically the decorative fuel effect gas fire in the living room. We have obtained a gas saftey certificate dated 11.01.12 from the seller (a landlord), which suggests that the fire was disconnected due to a fault. Also, the flue is hidden and so could not be tested by the surveyor. The central heating is provided by a gas fired boiler but is an old unit requiring replacement, and so we require advice on this. Before we exchange contracts we should like an expert’s second opinion on the safety of the appliance and the cost of any works and replacement boiler required. We look forward to hearing.

We have a radiator with a broken thermostat which means the radiator is only ever on full so needs repairing. We also have a heated towel rail which makes dripping noises and does not fully heat up. Lastly we have two down lighters in our kitchen ceiling which have stopped working. Bulb is fine as they will sometime some back on so assume broken transformer
