Install Gas central Heating (Worcester Bosch) with timer and 5 thermostatic radiators. New piping.
Good quality products, very happy with the price and punctual each day. Tom's communication was excellent and he sought clarification when required so that i knew exactly what was happening every day.
The quality of the job is very good and Tom has tidied up satisfactorily.

My boiler is not igniting even though it is trying to so I have no hot water/heating at the moment.
Puts my faith back in tradesmen!! I was very impressed with the speedy service provided by James Nightingale. He was completely trustworthy and value for money as it became apparent that I may have needed a new circuit board to solve the problem with my boiler. However on closer inspection he realised that a little soldering would solve the problem. Another less scrupulous tradesman may have not been honest but he was completely upfront and fixed the problem, just charging me the call-out fee. I'm now sat in a lovely warm house. Thank you.

Simon was not only reliable,turning up bang on time,but he was courteous and pleasant.
His work rate was exceptional,he worked solidly for 2 days without a break.
Any questions that we had were answered/explained in a manner we could easilyunderstand.
We are delighted with the quality of Simon's work and the oustanding value for money.

remove fire and advise on leaving supply for new fire or not, remove tank upstairs and use space for new boiler?
Job done even with the bad weather (snow), and some tough brickwork to get through. All problems overcome, and at an excellent price, I can recommend the trader.

Ideal Isar HE30 boiler PCB replacement
I've had an engineer call on behalf of my home emergency cover who diagnosed the PCB on my dead boiler needs to be replaced. However, he's quoted me 480 pounds just for the part which I've checked and seems to be a joke.
My cover has a limit of 500 pound and since the initial call out and labour is already 210 pounds that only leaves 290. I can use the 290 pounds to find someone else to do it.
Can anyone supply and fit a PCB for 290 including VAT or less?

I currently have a Worcester Hiflo 3.5 Floor standing combi. I think this boiler is far to big even though it has been installed for over 15 years. Alas the boiler wont work now at all, the pilot light will not remain on. I have replaced the thermocouple with no result. Due to the age of the boiler I dont really want to spend alot of money on it for it to be replaced in a year or two so I am considering a replacement combi boiler which I would want wall mounted above the current floor standing position. All pipes drop down to the boiler from the ceiling and it is in the garage.The house is a bungalow with 2 bathrooms and only 7 radiators. Now to the point.... I am in Ashton-Under-Lyne, if I decide to replace the boiler (depends on cost) how soon could you fit it? How much would it cost? What boiler would you recomend for economy and performance given 2 bathrooms and 7 rads? Regards
