On 16th May we are moving to a house which has been empty since October 2011. The gas central heating system is completely drained and shut down. It will need checking out, probably servicing and ensuring that it is in working order.

To connect a newly installed hob to the gas supply. The supply is in place from a previous hob but requires a Gas Safe Engineer to connect from an in line tap behind the built in oven to the hob.

Iwasn't there when job was done. My wife said they "2 engineers" took only 30 minutes to service the boiler? good or bad I dont know, for the cost I think they would have taken longer. They might be Supermen

We had a new boiler and wireless thermostat fitted last winter. The ECO thermostat no longer seems to be 'talking' to the boiler properly. The flame symbol will come on when it gets too cold and go off when it is too hot, but the boiler will not necessarily switch on or off at the same time. I can't contact the engineer fitted it. Our electrician looked at it, changed the battery and re-paired the thermostat with the boiler but it still doesn't work. We have wireless internet and a baby monitor that may be interferring but can't do without either.
