Job Fuse (5 amp) in cable point supplying power to boiler (Glow worm Hideway) keeps blowing. When new fuse is used boiler fires up but fuse immediatley blows.

Job replace existing gas boiler and repipe house moving some radiators. existing system is a single 22mil copper pipe . downstairs is a solid floor.

Job The gas supply has been cut off because the pipework to the boiler has a 6mbar pressure drop. The leak needs fixing and the system pressure testing to meet minimum 4mbar drop.

Budget Under £4,000

Job I am looking to replace my old, floor mounted gas boiler with a new, energy efficient combi boiler, and upgrade my radiators. The boiler is located in the kitchen, was installed mid-1970's, and is still functioning. It has large pipes that heat up the hot water cycliner (I think from research this is a 'semi gravity' system). I would like the new boiler installed in the kitchen, on the wall, and the old boiler removed along with the hot water pipes and associated tanks/cylinders. In addition, I have 7 radiators that I would like to replace, with TRV's fitted. Happy to use the existing pipework and positions - but would like to add one small radiator in the kitchen, directly under the new boiler position. I would also like a simple radio thermostat.

Comment Bandits!!!!! He hoovered the fireplace and clipped something in place and tried to charge £85.00. When questionned about why it was £85.00 he could not justify it. He said he had done a sevice on the fire, but no certificate was issued and he did not tell us what he was doing what needed to be done or how much it would cost. He has allegedly ripped up my cheque which suggests that he realised that he was over charging Andrew
