Budget Under £1,000

Job Potterton Pro Max combi (lost instructions) is seriously leaking. Have to re-pressurise every day to get hot water, and then sometimes the central heating comes on instead. I live in a ground floor flat.

Budget Under £100

Job Ideal boiler HE24/30/35 3 years old. Had no problem with it. No hot water this afternoon. Would not re-light. Pressure was down to almost zero. Have topped it up using filler loop. Supply to gas hob is ok.

Job Replace existing Ariston A30 combi with Worcester type boiler. 2-bed ground floor flat. Road access. Boiler on external wall where gas meter is located. No thermostatic control valves on radiators. Provide separate cost for replacing 4no single panel waterfed radiators and 1no towel rail in bathroom.

Comment In total i got about 10 different quotes because no one i knew could 'hand-on-their-heart' recommend a heating engineer!! Chris certainly exceeded expectations in the quality and tidiness of the what he delivered. He was completely transparent at all times, making sure we were aware of what he needed to do before he did it ,unlike one guy who ripped off some panelling when he came to quote and then blurted out "it needed to be done anyway". If you want a good value, tidy and high quality heating engineer you can trust, I would recommend CNB. Bechi

Job Mega Flow New condensing boiler

Comment The job was fairly complicated (6 bed/4 bath house)and many plumbers who came round to see it either said they couldn't quote because the were not sure what they would find and one that could quote was so vague he could not commit to any timescale and never turned up when arranged. Jason came along and was a breath of fresh air, didn't try to make the job even more complicated than it was and even better turned up when arranged, worked incredibly hard, installed new boiler, megaflow, moved radiators, separated upstairs heating from exsisting system all within 2 1/2 days! and at a reasonable price, no added extras. Never thought I would find a plumber I could recommend, but I've found one!! Very highly recommended Jeanette
