Budget Under £500

Job I need to re-locate a Combi boiler (pretty new one) to a different location (about 10m away) and also re-locate the Gas Meter to the same location just next to where the actual gas supply comes into the property. (im guessing in conjunction with the National Grid who will do part of the works on the supply pipe).

Comment So I'll begin by saying I almost never do reviews unless I'm trying to get some reciprocal feedback or I'm complaining about something. With Aziz and Carl however, this is not the case. The quality of their work was simply staggering, probably because they showed a enthusiasm / bordering obsession for what they did. This was evident from the high quality materials to the pipework aesthetics. They provided a really good fixed price fee, which I added a £70 bonus to as I was so pleased with the end result. Ben

Job removal and flushing out of trench radiator.

Comment Jonut was thoughtful and careful and recommended 3 things to do to cure our problem with one radiator on a big central heating system. It only worked partially after his first visit and he very promptly and willingly returned and spent time fine tuning the system, without further charge, and it now works as it should. Judy

Job Please adjust the gas pipe behind a fitted oven so that the oven can be fitted correctly. Currently the gas pipe blocks the oven being fitted properly.

Budget Under £100

Job Boiler inspection and landlords gas safety certificate. I am preparing my flat to let out and need to have the boiler/heating and gas hob checked and certified. The boiler is a combi - approx. 3 years old. Has had no recent problems, except the occasional low pressure issue. Heating system was recently flushed and restarted during installation of a new bathroom and movement of the bathroom radiator. Gas hob is over 10 years old, but appears to be standard item and also functions well. Work will need to take place 24th or 25th september as I am visiting the property on those days and access will not be possible outside these days.

Job Need a new boiler sourcing and fitting

Comment Yigit and Terry helped source and then fit a new boiler. They were very competitive on price and were honest and friendly. They were punctual and completed the job in a day. They talked through different options for types of boiler and they even collected the boiler so I did not need to wait in for it to arrive. Not knowing much about boilers I was conscious of not being ripped off but Yigit and Terry talked everything through in simple terms and seemed confident with their expertise. I would definitely use them again and have already and would continue to recommend them to others. Rachel

Budget I'm not sure

Job Dispose old boiler. New boiler to fit in std 600mm floor kitchen unit. Need to replace old pipework from gas-inlet. May need to move flue. May need to move gas-meter.

Comment Could not fit the boiler where originally planned and quoted for. Overcharged (for unrequired thermostatic valves). Also could not fit "MagnaClean" that was originally quoted for. Job ran over by a full day. Abandoned waste material on site for several weeks; upon collection damage was done to access to property. Balancing job payment (plus overcharge) was taken from my CC prior to job completion. Neal

Job Old Potterton Netaheat 6/10 boiler has stopped working (gas valve). Need advice on selecting new suitable boiler and cost of fitting. Additional work may involve, due to space, re-siting new boiler on an adjacent wall. I'm thinking of fitting a Potterton Performa boiler. Need an all-in quote for boiler and work. Thanks.

Job 2 exiting to be relocated, one new radiator in bathroom

Comment We had a problem with a plumber who let us down and so we called upon Raj who had also quoted us for the same job. He came the next morning and worked solidly for 2 days to complete the job. He is very professional, straightforward and also cheerful and pleasant to have around. He works in a very methodical, organised way and leaves the house immaculate when he's finished.
