I need a quotation for replacing my Saunier Duval Thelia 23 with a medium-priced gas combi boiler. It may need some new 25mm pipework leading in to it. I am being quoted £2200 at the moment but cannot afford that.
He gave me the quote straight away on seeing the job, rather than with a whole build-up schpeel! Carried out the job VERY well and on budget, even though there were complications (gas leak in cooker which was tricky to find - although I wish I'd known for definite that the extra time would not incur extra cost). There were a couple of communication problems in the couple of days leading up to the job, but this is a minor quibble. Any boiler problems - USE BOILER EXPRESS!

Had a replacement boiler fitted. Original had been fitted with a 15mm final stage. As pipes were buried in a wall, gas man fitted a new 21mm supply from the meter. This meant that He said it would be possible to have a spur from the bolier supply to the hob using 15mm pipe. The distances involved are 180mm across and a 170mm drop from the entry of the pipe in the kitchen to the hob location. If the price in total is more than gbp 150 it would probably be better for me to get an electirc hob.
Very reliable. Came in under my original budget even though an additional visit was required. Very good value for money. Conscientious and knowledgeable worker

Biasi boiler, model: 24S, year: 1998. for last year or two it has been tempermental, sometimes working immediately, sometimes not. flow would begin, flame would light but would go off again a few seconds later. currently flame not catching at all. Corgi engineer has looked at it. He said boiler did not need replacing. reckoned likely problem with flow valve or gas valve. not urgent, but should I sort it sometime.
Appeared to be excellent on all measures. Always arrived when he said he would, fixed the problem and the price seemed reasonable. I would recommend Zibi.

(1) 15 Year old boiier to be replaced (Glowworm Swiftflow) (2) Need to top up the water in my boiler everyday but cannot locate the leak. I know have a smell of dampness in my flat and suspect this is related. (3) New towel radiator to be installed in bathroom. (4) Some leaking thermostats (differrent from leak under (2) - I can explain.
The company installed a new boiler and filters, exchanged all valves on my radiators, conducted a power flush, repaired two leaks in my pipes and installed a new radiator. This took just over half a day. The company impressed with their customer service from their very first call. They took time to discuss my job which gave me the feeling to be in safe hands. The team turned up in time both for the first free consultation and the subsequent work. After the first visit I received a detailed quote with a fixed price listing everything hat was included. I was assured me that there would be no hidden extra costs and that the price included everything that was required to fix my problems. They kept this promise. The total price was slightly less than I expected. I was very worried about costs because I suspected a leak somewhere in the pipes underneath the concrete floor. In addition, the company advised me that my pipes did not meet regulatory standards. They could easily have turned this into a very expensive job, but they discussed various options with me and managed to address all issues without even touching the floor. The job was completed in very short time and to high standards with no mess at all. At the end they explained in detail how the new boiler had to be operated. I waited two weeks before I posted this to be sure that everything works well and it still does.

Problem with hot water. British Gas have advised boiler not installed correctly. Need to establish whether boiler can be repaired or if it needs to be replaced.
Am so pleased with my boiler replacement. Jarek and his company did a fantastic job. They were so tidy I hardly knew they had been in my home! They are a friendly, reliable and trustworthy company, always going out of their way to ensure that the customer is happy. I will definitely be using him for any future work. i have an electrical fault between the thermostat and the timing panel. current goes into and out of the thermostat but doesn't make it back to the timing panel. this is an intermittant problem so almost certainly a loose connectiuon somewhere. unfortunately no wires are labelled so i am considering replacing the thermostat with a wireless one and bypassing the problem. i need a heating engineer who is good at electrical fault finding and solving and get this fixed for me. only reason i know so much about the problem is the 4 failed visits i have already had.

I have wooden radiator covers covering rather small inefficent radiators. I would like to remove the wooden covers and replace the radiators with something more suitable for the room size. The job will be consulting on which radiators will be best, removing wooden covers and making nice the wall and floor where they were attached and then fixing new radiators. I would initially like to do this in two rooms in the house.

Modification: We're redoing our whole kitchen and need to move our Potterton Performa 30 HE gas boiler about two feet up the wall it's currently on (with the associated re-jigging of pipes that might require) in order to allow space for a countertop below. It currently sits about two feet up from the floor - not a very helpful height. We also need to install the necessary pipework so we can connect a gas hob in the next few weeks (we currently have an electric hob).
