Gas safety certificate for a hob and a boiler required in Vauxhall around 08 March.
Jason arrived on time and provided good quality service at a reasonable price. He was also happy to look at two other issues which cropped up before he arrived and found a quick solution to fix them. I appreciate his integrity as he did not want to charge me for the extra 'small' repairs he did. I will definitely use him again.

Service of our electric boiler. Also investigate why we have to keep the boiler on for longer than previously required. Also want a quote/recommendation on a better timing system
Our boiler was working but not efficiently. During the quote he rewired the pump to give us better hot water which stopped it producing hot water. He visited us another three times and failed to get it working again. After 7 days of no hot water and Richard failing to turn up and not responding we got someone from the manufacturer to come and fix it. Turns out he had wired in the circuit board incorrectly and put the wrong thermostats in. He promised to give us money back but never did.

Hello I would like someone to fit a new gas hob into my kitchen. We have recently bought the property and the previous owners had a gas oven. We have sited the new gas hob in the same part of the kitchen as the old oven so the pipes just need connecting. We would also like a free standing fireplace removed from the lounge and the pipe capped. Many thanks

Combi-Boiler - Vaillant TURBOmax VUW 242/1E (or 282/1E) Central Heating is fine but boiler only kicks in (lights up) for hot water when 2 hot water taps turned on. Then water stays hot with just one tap on unless you turn tap temp down below a certain level - boiler flame shuts off and you have to repeat two-tap fire-up process. Some sort of flow-valve/thermostat prob? Righto Alex

We have a gas boiler which utilises an enclosed flume to which we have no acess. I understand that this no longer meets regulations. I would like to discuss the best options (and of course relative cost) with someone eg is it easier to work on the flume to make it comply with regulaions or get an electric bolier? The gas boiler is about a decade old so it might need replacing soon anyway. In addition to the gas boiler we also have an electric immersion heater. The flat is on the third floor so we will need scafolding if work is needed on the flume to make it comply with regulations - which I imagine will be quite expensive. Many thanks for any assistance.
