Worcester 320cdi boiler, 2006 model. Central heating is working but hot water isn't. When I turn on hot tap a small amount of hot water comes out and then nothing afterwards. Worcester technicians believe it may be an issue with the flow switch.

Hi, We have a problem with our ProTherm Combi boiler. When you try to use the hot water, the water gets warm, it indicates about 38 - 39 on the boiler, then it stops heating and goes cold, then warms up again, then goes cold, and so on..... So we would like that repaired. The Central Heating is fine.
I used F.M. Domestic Gas & Heating to fix my hot water which had stopped working. The service was good, punctual, polite and most of all got my hot water working again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tradesman.

Updated : I have 4 economy 7 storage heaters in my flat. They all worked perfectly last winter, I switched them on this year and none of them has come on. I would like them repaired. It is important that the engineer can by pass the system and show they work as opposed to telling me to wait until midnight. Original : I have 4 wtorage heaters in my flat, they have all failed to come on, 48 hours after I turned them on. I need someone to attend to fix my heating (economy seven, with storage heaters). You need to be able to over-ride the system and prove you have successfully repaired them, as opposed to saying wait till mid-night and see if they come on.
Ray went over and above his call. He very quickly identified the problem with my storage heating system. The electricity board needed to attend. In the interim, he took one heater off the circuit allowing us to use it on demand by plugging it to the mains. He gave us advise on how to keep warm and costs reasonable until the electricity board attended. I honestly could not ask for more.

I need a quote for the installation of a new gas boiler. Combi boiler needed for two-bedroom, ground floor flat.
I used Protea to have my new boiler installed. It wasn't the cheapest quote I received but I felt Armand gave me good advice and would be reliable. The service was excellent, they were bang on time and worked efficiently to get the installation done as soon as possible. I would definitely recommend Protea Plumbing.

Our hot water is not working properly. It gets hot for a bit, then gets colds, then gets hots, then cold, etc.... This has happened before, I think the Heat Exchanger needed replacing. But we would like someone to come and investigate and resolve the problem. It is a Protherm Combi Boiler. If possible the best days to do it would be the 18th or 19th of June (this tuesday or wednesday) as someone will be in the house.

Hi. I have a Potterton Suprima 40 which is producing hot water as normal but not turning the cetnral heating on. When I manually move the lever on the valve rads will heat up as long as the HW is on. if HW not turned on and CH is there is a constant orange light on the boiler. My understanding is this means there is no call for heat. This would suggest the stat is at fault, checked the temp on wall stat then replaced the wall stat today. Frustratingly i still have the same issue. I believe i wired the stat properly but I don;t know how to test this. Reached the extent of my knowledge so need someone who can take the resolution of this to the next level. will add work e-mail here but fell free to call Thanks, mike.
