Radiators not heating. Boiler does not fire up when thermostat is turned up and timer is calling for heat. Boiler does work to heat a separate underfloor system, so I don't think it's a problem specifically with the boiler. Boiler is a Baxi combination boiler.
Only four stars for value because they charge a call out fee which sort of works against the Rated People approach of getting three quotes. However, they put a work-around in place on their first visit so that we had heating and then returned the following day to finish the job with the required new boiler part.

Timer for existing gas-powered boiler appears to turn off (to actually lose power) after a couple of minutes operation. Need to have this checked out and repaired if possible.
Asked for a quote to fix a timer issue on my central heating, which would annoyingly switch itself off. Didn't charge an initial call-out fee (which was a nice surprise) but came out and had a look before confirming a quote. Arrived on time, quote was accurate, replaced the timer, nice and tidy job. What more can you ask for? Very impressed, would certainly use again.

Hello This is for my mother's flat, all gas connections have been checked by a Corgi engineer authorised by Council, only the new gas cooker needs to be connected. Awaiting quotations.
All good! Turned up on time, gave a quote straightaway, easy to communicate, purchased a cable on his way in, installed the gas cooker and explained everything well to my mum. Certainly recommended!

- Problem started this morning when we did not get hot water - Boiler is located in our loft - This is a property we have moved into recently, so I am not wholly familiar with operating the boiler - I have checked with our gas suppliers - no issues with supply - Boiler make is Potterton - I would like someone to come and have a look today - preferably around 11 or 12pm
Robert did a great job on the boiler. He was courteous, wore covers over his shoes to make sure my carpets were not soiled and fixed the problem quickly. I would highly recommend him.

Vaillant TurboMax VUW GB 242E. Gas fired combi boiler. Hot water doesn't turn on when hot taps are running - only when central heating is also on. Also it has started taking the water longer to heat up.
A combi boiler repair - arrived promptly, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Also very reasonable rate.

Updated : Ideal Boiler, Model Isar HE30 4 years old. Error keeps appearing: L E flashing on the display. I believe this means there is an error with the PCB; boiler cuts out when the error message comes up. We would like someone to come out and look at it and repair if necessary, providing all parts. Original : The PCB keeps registering an error on our Ideal boiler which cuts the boiler out. We need a reputable engineer to come and have a look at the boiler and repair the fault. Only corgi registered engineers may apply

Looking for Gas Safe registered engineer local to Wimbledon area. Gas boiler started tripping RCD yesterday. I have found two dripping leaks from pipe joints leading to boiler, which have caused corrosion and deposits on pipes and also on the pump. One leak drips on to a wiring junction box, which presumably started the electrical tripping problem yesterday. I can't tell if pump (Grundfos Selectric UPS 15-50) is damaged or not, but was working OK before tripping started. Boiler is Potterton Netaheat, but I don't think it is involved in the problem itself. The leaks certainly need fixing and then the electrical components need checking to see they are OK. Whole assembly is wall mounted inside a large cupboard at floor level - quite easy access.
