just moved house, had BG to check boiler as we have thier homecare. condenser boiler. BG engineer condemned it. Leaking inside, possible from the condenser, causing corrosion. Boiler suppies heating but not hot water, have immersion heater for that. Looking for quotes for : Repair existing boiler or Replace with like for like to feed hot water system only or replace with combi boiler to feed heating and hot water and removal of hot water tank.
5 star service, very happy with the work carried out. Job done quickly with no mess and very reasonable price. Would use again

I moved in 6 months ago and since then have had several problems with central heating. I have had engineers in and have had a new regulator valve, I think thats what is was, I have had the system drained and refilled with protection chemicals and the system has been serviced. The engineer came back christmas week and disconnected some valve in my airing cupboard so we could have heat as the radiators weren't getting hot and has not been back since. When I want heating I have been told I have to have hot water on also, but when I only switch the timer on for hot water only, the radiators heat up and the heating switch is not on, which is going to be a problem in the warmer months. I would therfore like somone to look at the heating and fix and explain the problem without having to pay out money for jobs which have not solved the original problems. I have paid out £700+ already and I still have a knocking noise when I turn on the taps, I had noice inhibitor chemicals put into the tank in the loft also.
Geraint arrived when he said he would and on initial visit he identified the porblem and advised us he would visit on saturday morning with his colleague Chris to resolve the problem. We have had a previous so called expert who it appears was not truthful in his explanation of the fault and it now feels like he just took our money and never came back. Gas Serve NW identified and fixed my heating promptly, they supplied us with a new room thermostat and resolved other issues we were concerned about such as balancing the radiators, sorting a knocking noise from the hot tap, stopped the radiators heating up when we only wanted hot water. I would highly recommend Geriant and his company to anyone who wants an honest tradesperson who provides a prompt and excellent service without ripping the customer off. I would like to thank Geriant's wife for putting the company on this site because he has resolved our heating problem in two days and I have been trying to get it fixed properly for over 5 months. PS We now have a lovely warm house. Thank you Geriant.
