In the house we have moved into, we have a brand new gas fire which was installed by the previous owner. It is all connected, but for the final connection to the gas mains under our stairs. I am looking for a corgi registered engineer to simply connect this up for us so we can get the fire working.
Tommy was very reliable, helpful and engaging. Wasn't able to complete the job, due to a fault in the chimney flue but helped give us clarity on next steps. Would use Tommy again

I'm not sure
I would like a new combi boiler fitted in my 2 bedroom flat. I would also like the hot and cold water tanks removed from the kitchen cupboard to enable installation of a washing machine in the cupboard and a dishwasher installed where the washing machine currently is in the kitchen.
So, want a price on:
Purchase of combi boiler
Installation of boiler and any radiator cleaning work
Installation of washing machine(already have)
Installation of dishwasher(will purchase)

I'm looking for a quote to supply a wireless thermostat, remove the old wired solution. Supply and fit a electronic timer to control the heating and hot water. The existing one is a mechanical British gas unit.
Depending on the outcome there may be a need for a new control valve but this will not be known until the above issues are resolved.
Phil came in Saturday on time, brought all the right parts. There was a few issues with the existing wiring which resulted in the job taking 6 hours rather than 2 as planned. (Had to remove the old wiring and install new). Phil did all this with a smile on his face. Kept to the agreed cost and even replaced the thermostat on the hot water tank at no additional cost. Really happy with the end result. Would really want to use him again. Very good guy and good work. Thank you.

Hi - I need a Corgi or Gas Safe Registered gas engineer to check my gas meter and pipes to detect if there is a leak. Occasionally, there is a faint smell of gas at the entrance to the house. The problem is that this is not consistent and so just need a safety check. Thanks.

I'm not sure
bolier needs fixing, also interested in unvented system.
This guy fixed a problem a large firm had not diagnosed correctly in over two years. I paid that firm for lots of changes to my system and call out fees all watsed money. This chap really fixes the problem, very knowledgable and is highly reliable.

The water pressure from the hot taps in the house has become low. Not enough pressure to have a shower. I have checked with the neighbours to see if they are having problems and they are not, so i don't think it is Thames water. I have checked in the roof for frozen pipes and can't see any. We have a gas combi boiler and the pressure gauge is showing normal and the central heating is working fine. I need someone who can come today / tomorrow.
