I posted the job late one evening and the next morning Neil from Flowtech got in touch. He visited and quoted on the job that day, and was back again the very next day installing a condensing combi boiler. We found Neil and his team courteous, clean and above all professional. I felt he genuinely wanted to fit the best quality and moreover best value system in my home, as he discounted the idea of fitting more expensive (parts AND labour) alternatives. I will be recommending Flowtech to family and friends

Excellent communication and reliable. Quoted for the job within the agreed timescale and actually quoted for the job that I wanted done and did not try to sell me a more complex and expensive job. Very clean and precise in work carried out and I would recommend James with no hesitation. He was let down by some of the third party suppliers that he uses - but this was not his fault & he did the best under the circumstances.

The Trades Persson came right on time and did the job as required. However the pricing was confusing. He charged me £55 for a landlord safety inspection and £75 to install a gas cooker?? However I was fully aware of the pricing before he took on the job but did not bother looking into it further as I had to get the job done asap.

We have a Potterton Kingfisher 2 gas boiler at our tenant's property. This works well but has started to make a small noise like a steam train - chuf-chuf-chuf quite quickly - which is more noisy when starting from cold and quietens down as it warms up. I have called an engineer out who thought it might be a leak inside the heat exchanger and recommended a replacement boiler at significant cost, both because the boiler is old (but working fine and passed gas safety on several occasions) and because he says parts are not available . I need a second opinion on the cause and recommended fix, and someone who may be able to supply and fit a spare part rather than replace the boiler.

The system has 3 zones which can be controlled by manual valves. There is 1 thermostat for the system. There is a separate pump for the upstairs radiators, but no way of running these independently of the underfloor system. I would like to be able to programme each underfloor zone separately with a thermostat for each zone.

funny noise from water tank about half an hour after boiler switches on then heating switches off, need system checked too as gas board checked it early on this year so would like it done properly
