Unsold Job, Updated Details : Not sure of the exact model number, it's an oldish (70's) type gas fire, looks like this. The light works, but if you turn the dial around so the igniter "clunks" and hold it in, the fire does not come on. Original : Fix a Baxi Gas fire, with back boiler behind it. Not igniting when dial is clicked around. Timing: ASAP

cant get boiler to light up seems the ignition is knackered , its an oldish boiler one that sits on the wall not a posh combi boiler so needs somebody who isnt gonna stand there and tut and say i need a new one , but to fix this one.

Install a vent, which will involve knocking a hole through a dry-lined stone wall. Check flue is sound, and ascertain cause of blackening of ceiling and walls, which caused me to stop using the system a year ago. Remove and dispose of current "coals" and clean and service fire-front and back boiler. Get it all running again, as it`s been turned off for a whole year and, also, a new gas-main was laid in Feb 2011, from the road to the house. Baxi Bermuda Inset 2 50/4E Before Christmas 2011 would be good.
I am very, very happy with the work h2flow plumbing & heating has done for me today. I was a bit worried when Paul showed up a little later than I had expected, but having watched him working, I can see the reason for that: he is the most conscientious plumber I have ever hired; his approach was methodical; I just feel sure he would always do a job thoroughly, and would never cut corners to rush on to the next one. I now have peace of mind. Excellent work and so reasonably priced, and polite too! I will definitely use his company in the future, and will also recommend him to my friends.
