I am having difficulty with the above programmer: although it used to be possible to separate the hot water and heating controls, as per the instruction manual, when I now put what I think is just the hot water on, all the radiators also kick into action as well. This, even with making sure the programmer says "Off" for the central heating, and the Danfoss room thermostat is turned down, and even setting the programmer to bring on no heating at all (i.e. start 5 am, stop 5 am, start 12.00 hrs, stop 12.00 hrs etc). Danfoss say that there should be a motorised valve between the boiler and the radiator circuit which should shut off when there is no heating demand and that this valve is almost certainly defective. They have sent me wiring diagrams, so I now need someone to investigate and put things right.
