I need an integrated dishwasher installed. The pipes are already attached, but it isn't fitted properly into the space and the front panel isn't attached.
Quoted £75 on the phone, but finished quickly and only asked for £35. Refused to take a tip. Came out quickly. Did a good job, and seemed like a nice guy. Saved his phone number for later work.

New kitchen layout design and install. No re-routing of utilities (all existing plumbing gas and electricity supply to be retained). New units and appliances, flooring and tiling etc.
Wayne did an outstanding job with our kitchen, attending to the tiniest details for us and being thoroughly reliable throughout. He was tidy and punctual, and kept the job on time and within budget. We couldn't be more delighted.

This isn't a full kitchen refit, but replacement of worktops, built under oven and hob, sink and we'd also like to remove a floor to ceiling cupboard and add in an island / peninsula-type unit
Simon was great at managing the project and completing on time, and was also very helpful and offered useful advice. We're really pleased with the finished job

Hi there, Can you please provide a rough ballpark quote of time and cost for fitting the following kitchen: - 5 standard units - 4 cabinets with integrated appliances (electric oven, slimline dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer) - laminate work surface - sink - gas hob - cooker hood - Dimensions of kitchen : 10' x 8' NOTE 1: We may have time to build the shells of the cabinets up ourselves, so please quote separately for this part of the job. NOTE 2: The old units will already be removed and the flooring/tiling is not part of this job, so please don't include these in the quote. FURTHER: I understand that specialists may be required for gas/electricity/plumbing. Do you have any of the neccessary certificates/skills, or will I need to go elsewhere? - moving/adding a few electrical sockets - Gas work to connect new gas hob - Plumbing to move sink 3m from its existing position - Plumbing to connect new washer/dryer - Plumbing to connect new dishwasher The materials are bought and paid for and arrive on 16th June, so any date as soon as possible after that for the job please. Many thanks, Ann
Friendly and genuine from day one, Nick did an excellent job on our kitchen. He and his tradesman sorted everything, including water, gas and electricity without any fuss. Even though it was 'a pig of a job' at times, where the worktop didn't fit up the stairs (amongst other issues) Nick was always positive and resolved the problems with minimal input from me. Slightly above my budget, but a really great finished product. Awesome job.

We have bought our kitchen units and solid wooden worktop already and are now looking to have it fitted. Our kitchen consist of base units only without any wall mounted cupboards. It is arranged in an L shape and the floor has recently been concreted and tiled. We have a plumber and electrician booked already. We would like to get a quote for fitting the kitchen units and worktops. Many Thanks
We're renovating our house at the moment and so have had many tradesmen in from self-employed plumbers, builders and electricians through to large construction companies. These were by far the worst people we've dealt with. We found them to be pushy, hurried, careless and lacking in problem solving skills. Quality: They made various basic mistakes including: - fitting the top drawer fronts and runners on upside-down (despite having the instructions) causing damage to the drawers below; - claiming to be unable to drill the holes for the cupboard handles without a provided template (despite having the instructions and the tools to make a template); - fitting a section of worktop upside-down (with its product stamp exposed) and failing to screw it into the wall at all (when picked up on this they did screw it down but it later turned out to be a good centimetre vertically off level); - causing a number of deep scratches to the newly laid floor tiles (probably due to sharp screws left lying around on the floor while working). - they had apparently never fitted an Ikea kitchen before, despite giving us the impression on the phone that they were experienced at fitting any kitchen, as the slightly deeper worktops didn't fit properly in their router template for cutting which surprised them (and the resulting cuts are not the best). Value: At £600 for two and a half man days of work they weren't cheap. - lpxtpclpxtpclpxtpc at yahoo.co.uk

Kitchen is being installed by the customer, who already has worktops, cover strips for cut ends and fixings for sink and hob. Worktops comprise three pieces. Piece 1: - cut to lenght, apply laminate to cut end and fit to units already installed. Piece 2 :- Cut to fit between walls at each end. Include for fixing lamintate to part of one cut end. Cutout for gas hob. Fix hob to worktop (gas installation by others). Include for 90 degree joint to piece 3, Piece 3:- 90 degree joint to piece 2. Cut out for stainless steel sink and drainer and fix sink to worktop. (plumbing by others) Cut 45 degree chamfer to free end of worktop and apply laminate to this cut end.
Paul turned up on time to quote for the job, was very polite and made some useful suggestions. He charges very reasonable rates and kept in good communication over start date (which he had to juggle due to an outdoor job and the awful weather). He completed the work well and efficiently. I also got him to reverse the hang of a door and he also made a good job of this. I would thoroughly reccomend Paul and would be happy to use him again for future jobs
