Kitchen installation in College Town
" We took Colin on because his quote was much lower than a well known kitchen company's. He did not have any ratedpeople.com feedback and in retrospect our mistake was to accept his references for jobs that bore no relation to projects as big as ours. The quality of the kitchen units he supplied was not as good as the kitchen company's. The electrician and plasterer he engaged left their work incomplete and we had to pay for another plasterer to redo the ceiling. The joinery and plumbing he did were satisfactory but tiling was uneven and the gaps left around electric sockets possibly dangerous. Months after he had started, after turning up in fits and starts, he finally departed leaving the work unfinished. His original mistake was to commit himself to a date and start demolishing the kitchen before finding out that the desired worktop would take four weeks to arrive, by which time he had already arranged to move on to another job. Getting two missing door handles out of him at the end was like pulling teeth and he never did come back to apply missing sealant, repair the sockets or fix a cupboard door that had come apart. At the end we should have kept back a larger portion of the balance owing, and should not have listened when, on the last day we saw him, he asked us to trust him to come back and finish off. We might recommend him as a joiner/handyman as he is undoubtedly skilful and has some creative ideas, but would not recommend him for a larger project."

Kitchen refurbishment and renovation in Central Sandhurst
"Mickey did a brilliant job, im so pleased with my new kitchen that I am speechless. Mickey was here early every day and worked really hard and the quality of his work is second to none. Having to contend with 2 flights of stairs everyday cant have been easy. Job went really smoothly without any problems and nothing was too much trouble for him and he kept me up to date with how things were going. Kevin did an excellent job with the tiling too which really makes my kitchen look like a showroom. I would definitely recommend both Mickey and Kevin to anyone. Thanks for all your hard work.
