I have attached some photos of the current layout. I also enclose a drawing of the kitchen layout with units and also a structural engineers drawing of the existing and new layout however these drawings are now out of date. The main changes being to only open up the chimney and not remove it completely and secondly the stud wall will have the door to the kitchen with the exiting door being replaced with a glass panel with stud support to allow light into the corridor.
We will provide the kitchen units which will come pre-assembled.
We are looking to start the work in the new year. (Jan/Feb)
Andrew has completed a significant amount of building work and a complete kitchen installation that we supplied. He arranged for building control and an electrician/gas engineer. It was a large job that took around 4 weeks.
Andrew did a fantastic job that we are very happy with and his rates are reasonable. He takes pride in his work and does not cut corners and has a professional approach. Would highly recommend to others.
To fit laminate worktop with cut out for a sink and hobs and to fit a joint.
Radek was quite brilliant. on time. neat and tidy worker. dilligent and VERY hard working. Only slight problem was that he did not query any changes that we had made from original plans so changed them back to where they were planned. would recommend him to all prospective clients. great job. liz Lyndon
Worktop space between cooker and drainer is only big enough for kettle - and I would like a single sink with a righthand drainer to give me a more suitable layout. At present apart from the kettle space, there is work top space to the right of the sink up to the wall. This space is too far from the cooker to be of much use.- it is almost 2ft long.
A very efficient and professional job was completed. Mr Geran is a very pleasnt man who explained exactly how the alteration would be done, and he completed everthing within one day.
We would certainly recommend him as an extremely good workman in all repects.
I am refitting my kitchen and have an already existing corner joint that I need to break and refit with another longer piece of worktop to extend the return. I will also need a hole cut to fit a gas hob.
Excellent job by a very nice guy, even my Dad was impressed and this is high praise indeed from someone who has been in the trade for over 40 years!! Cannot recommend Kris highly enough and will not hesitate to use him again in the future.
We are going to move into a house with a very basic kitchen. It currently has no units or worksurface, just a sink and an orignial 1930s cupboard floor to ceiling. We want a much more useable kitchen that retains just a little 1930s style. A kitchen specialist who also knows about building works would be ideal.
We couldn't be more pleased with John's work. He was quick to listen to what we wanted and to help us come up with a solution that suited us...and he dealt well with our changes: we originally wanted a kitchen but changed our minds completely and got him to do our bathroom instead. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend John or to employ him again. He started and finished the work right on time and there were no hidden extras.
John clearly takes a pride in his trade and is a very hard worker.
