Very fast response to ad, rang and visited within the hour of the post going up. Offered a very reasonable quote, job was finished within 2 days at a time that was suitable to both parties. Job was complete very efficiently and to a very good standard, with no mess left behind.

Jobs would include: - Removing old kitchen and current splasback tiling (kitchen in good condition currently) - Refitting new kitchen (standard flatpack). New kitchen will be fitted similar to current design. In L shape along two of the four walls. Current measurements along two walls (including overlap for corner unit) is 357cm x215cm. Just base units along the shorter wall, and base and 3 or so wall units against longer wall. Fridge and boiler are also included in this layout and will be covered by door fascias. We may also install two other base units and two wall units (above) against another wall. - Kitchen installation would include appliances - sink, cooker hood, ceramic hob and single oven (in base unit). Also laminate worktops and splashback (not tiling, laminate) - Would also appreciate someone who can also lay laminate flooring but this is not essential.
John is a no-nonsense guy who wasn't afraid to point out (correctly) issues with our self-done kitchen design, and suggest ideas that turned out to be spot on. He quoted for getting the whole job done rather than by the day - so we knew exactly what we would be paying - and kept good records of additional materials purchased. Pleased enough to have mentioned we'd like him to do the next job on our house! An honest, hard-working builder who we would recommend to others.
