Ordered new kitchen + will need it fitting. Very similar layout to existing kitchen so shouldnt need to move plumbing, sockets etc. Kitchen is fro b + q so flatpack carcases. Will require butt n scribe w'top joints. Kitchen due 16th March
Derek and John fitted my kitchen and have done a fantastic job. Both were really pleasant and also very tidy, which I wasn't expecting.
My house was built in the 30s and I knew there may be issues with walls not being at right angles but Derek used his skill and experience to make adjustments to get around this.
The only reason I haven't scored a '5' for value is that the quote was the highest of the 3 I received. However, I am very glad I chose NWHI to fit my kitchen and would definitely use them again.vicky
replace existing kitchen worktops which are butchers block with an ordinary laminate worktop, similar colour etc, just more practical. The rest of kitchen is fine, I just want the worktops replacing. The measurements are as follows, 3 sections, width from wall around 61/62cm, thickness of the worktop is 4cms. Its split into 3 butted sections, first one 150cms but I'd want that one extending to 250cm to go up to the kitchen door and shaped so the width from wall would be about 34cm at door entry point and graduating to 61/62cms about a metre in. The second section is 237cm long but needs cutting out for the kitchen hob, (electric) and the final section is 141cms but needs cutting out for belfast sink already in situ and existing taps which come out through the top of the worktop. Hope thats clear!
top guy and top job, really reliable, did exactly what he said he would, turned up on time as promised, didnt rush the job, did it properly, would definately use Amber again for any other work and would recommend to others without doubt.Linzi
