Although the work got done the joiner moaned about the job as soon as my husband went to work he tried to say the job would take 2 days when it was clearly a 1 day job. We feel this was to talk the price up. But then when my husband came home early he then got the job done in a day.

We are moving home at the end of feb and would like the kitchen replacing as soon as possible after we move. New cabinets, earthstone work tops, sink, appliances including oven, hob and hood, and dishwasher that will need plumbing. Will also include some retiling and possibly plastering. Kitchen is 3.6x 2.7 meters. At present has 2 double wall units and 5 single base units plus spaces for washer, fridge, freezer and oven. Also has corner units that we would like removing. We want to pay not more than £5000.
The finished kitchen is really beautiful, advice was really helpful and practical. We went way over our initial budget but was worth it for the quality of finish. There were several minor problems along the way but these were righted straight away with no quibbles. Would not recommend for a low budget kitchen, but would certainly recommend for excellent quality bespoke service.

To cut and fit three oak worktops on top of existing kitchen units after removing existing melamine tops. Sizes approx 236cm, 166cm and 162cm. One corner needs taking off to fit round pipe cover (20cm x 32cm). Rout small sink + single mixer tap hole. Rout hole for gas hob. Possibly fit gas hob (although I can get a gas fitter). Use existing tap, I will replace bowl. May suit plumber or gas fitter.
