Job I need a quote ASAP for two installations: a kitchen with approx. 10 floor units, 6 wall units, an integrated dishwasher, cooker vent and approx. 5 metres of wooden worktop AND a utility room with 2 tall units, 3 floor units and approx. 2 metres of laminate worktop.

Comment I originally used Bouchers Building for the installation of a kitchen and utility room. They were able to come in well below my original estimate (and thousands below B&Q's!) without any sacrifice on quality. Since then I've used them for several other projects around the house, including flooring and skirting, at really competitive prices and look forward to using them in the future as well. Colin

Budget Under £500

Job I want to modify a cupboard and install a new sink to enable a dishwasher to be fitted underneath. Will have to replace the sink for a single bowl, and probably the work surfaces. I also have a cupboard unit that needs taking out and work surface running along the wall. I also need under cupboard lighting and a couple of electric sockets. Will need someone to deal with the plumbing, carpentry works and electrics.

I was impressed with the condition of the house at the end of each day, left clean and tidy, and at the end of the job everything was removed and left clean. Budget Under £4,000

Job We would like someone to call and give us good advice and ideas and ultimately do a good job with our small kitchen / diner. We currently have 2 double base units and 2 double wall units, a single base unit and the usual kitchen sink and free standing gas cooker. We would like an eye level fan oven and separate gas hob and maybe a slimline dishwasher. We have browsed throught the usual brochures from places like Howdens, B&Q, Homebase etc, but we are stuck. We want value for money as well!

Comment Alllan responded to our request for a quote very quickly. We needed the job done yesterday!! He came promply to quote for the job and gave us a price within our budget. Our kitchen is very small and Allan configured the space to optimise utilisation so that the kitchen now feels bigger. He has an excellent portfolio of work which shows his craftsmanship and that he is very good at his trade. He left the workspace neat and tidy. Job Type of kitchen is open to discussion but Howden's have been recommended. Kitchen is small and would comprise approx 8 cupboards, space for fridge-freezer, washing machine, dryer, new sink and also re-tiling and new floor. Cost would be inclusive or materials and labour.
