"Initially was very pleased. Russell did a good job and was friendly , helpful and always turned up on time or rang if he was running late. Did a couple of extra little jobs at no extra cost. However at the end when there were just a couple of things to finish off ie a cracked tile and chrome door knobs to be fitted he insisted on being paid the last bit of money. I was unsure of this as I said that he may not come back and finish off. He said that his reputation was everything and I had his promise. 3weeks down the line and suddenly he kept not turning up , not answering calls and whats more concerning is that when i text asking for my house key back he didnt even respond. At this point I was worried as I did not want someone who was clearly not returning running around with keys to my home. Hence I had to pay to change the locks. Since this I have also discovered other things which have not been finished off, ie boxing in of pipes and the plimpf keeps coming off under the sink. Adissapointing end to a generally good job. Its a shame as prior to this I had booked him to fit new floorboards, a job I cannot now give to him."
