Budget Under £4,000

Job We think that we have a well-designed kitchen that, in general, makes the most of the space. It is however getting rather 'tired'. We are unlikely to be able to afford a completely new kitchen so are looking to refurbish what we have, maybe with some alterations and upgrading. The kitchen is approx 3900 x 3200 with the units arranged in a modified U-shape. Most appliances are fitted. There are 7/8 top cupboards (up to ceiling) and 11 under-counter mostly with a single drawer. We could be looking at a new installation or a renovation project using some of the existing. It's all down to cost. There's no hurry for this job but we need to begin to get advice and quotations so that we can make decisions.

Budget I'm not sure

Job I have under counter fridge and freezer....I would like a fridge/freezer (tall standing one) so the counter needs to be cut, refitted and then a edge put on....and plumbing from the sink to fit in new dishwasher.

Budget Under £2,000

Job Removal of present kitchen, wall tiles, floor tiles. Installation of side by side fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and range cooker. Making and installation of hygena units to include worktops. Laying of rubber flooring and possibly wall tiles.

Job Building from flat pack. Installing and fixing units

Comment I am sitting still waiting for the tradesmen to arrive the time is now 1045 this has happen every day. He said that he would starts at 0930 each day and will work through. He took on more jobs but has still to finish the kitchen. I made up all the units from flat pack and put all instruction and fixings in each of the units. all they had to do was sort out the electrics and gas pipe and fit the units. The trademen are not Kitchen Fitters they have damaged my units and doors their work is sub standard and I would not ask them to fit another kitchen of mine example of pro handle fitted to door made hole 1/2 inch out door ruined that is just one thing. My wife insisted that we get a trademan in to get a professional job now she wish's that I had done the job how right she is. It is now 1100 and Iam still waiting this is a joke. I will be seeking damages from this man. Just to show that i am not just complaining for the sake of it he is a competent builder that is it, but out of date with modern methods Dave
