Job 1930's semi in Barnet needing loft conversion with en-suite bathroom. Loft to be fully decorated, bathroom to be fully fitted including tiling. Can arrange for plans to be drawn up, or happy to discuss a "complete package" where builder would arrange plans, structural calcs, building regs spec etc.

Job I am looking to have the roof of a three-bedroom semi in Barnet, Hertfordshire, converted into a bedroom and small bathroom. I have two small children of five and under, and am expecting a third shortly after Christmas so there is a timeframe for this project. Many of the surrounding hourses have had this type of conversion done and I am keen to get some quotes and talk to a small number of specialists to see what they have to say. I would prefer not to speak on the phone during the day - anytime after 6.30pm on my mobile would suit. And I work in town so would need potential builders to come and provide quotes/discuss the project ideally at the weekend. Comment Andy Smith and his team from Above and Beyond started and finished my loft conversion in approximately six weeks. I cannot thank him and his guys enough - they have done a fantastic job, were very communicative and extremely good value. Never having gone down the route of commissioning work on my property of this magnitude, and for this amount of investment, once he got into the job, I was never in any doubt that he was going to finish it and to and high standard. It's not easy convincing yourself to trust someone who calls you up off the back of what you write on a website, but Andy talked through everything that he was going to do and did on the house, and was a credit to his profession. I said I'd write him a glowing reference, and I believe he fully deserves this. If anyone in the Barnet area is looking for a loft conversion, give the man a call.
