Require a loft (approx. 5m x 6m) insulated and floored with intent to use for storage and exercise. Currently no insulation so hoping insulation will be partially grant eligible. Would like a light, light switch, mains socket and ladder installed. Access hatch is small approx. 18”x24”so I think it would need enlarged and moved. Existing joists alternate between 3.5”x2” and 2.5”x2” about 18” apart so I’m guessing new joists to support floor would be needed. House is end terrace and roof is 'hipped' with no gable. Potentially considering plasterboard under roof and possible skylight or window depending on cost. cheers Avian
