Reviews of Loft Conversion Specialists in Peninsula, Greenwich
5 November 2012
Require a loft (approx. 5m x 6m) insulated and floored with intent to use for storage and exercise.
Currently no insulation so hoping insulation will be partially grant eligible.
Would like a light, light switch, mains socket and ladder installed.
Access hatch is small approx. 18”x24”so I think it would need enlarged and moved.
Existing joists alternate between 3.5”x2” and 2.5”x2” about 18” apart so I’m guessing new joists to support floor would be needed.
House is end terrace and roof is 'hipped' with no gable.
Potentially considering plasterboard under roof and possible skylight or window depending on cost.
Emil and his team did a fantastic job. They were polite and courteous, arrived on the dot, did the job to schedule and cleaned up so that you wouldn’t have known they’d been here. They completed the job on budget as per the quote. They used good quality materials and were keen to show me how the work was progressing which instilled confidence that they were doing a superior job. We were so pleased with the work we’ve already asked Emil to quote for another job.Avian
