We wish to use the attic as better storage for various items so not sure if we would need a full conversion. We have a slate roof which may be a hindrance if windows needed to be fitted.
A loft ladder would be the best option.

Loft needs insulating. It's been totally cleared and currently has no insulation at all. British Gas wouldn't do the job as there is a short asbestos pipe (covered with bin bag) still in roof space. Job would be to supply and fit insulation to reccomended depth asap.
