I am looking to turn loft area into an office/playroom space boarded skimmed velux window but do not want a staircase though a loft ladder will be fine, i also want to put a partition wall in a bedroom to create a smaller bedroom which will need a new window and radiator and electric sockets and resiting of ceiling light
Really pleased with the work. Andrew managed to turn a dark unusable space to a fantastic bright playroom and office, and also did a great job on splitting our master bedroom to make space for a nursery. Very reasonably priced and great to deal with cant rate highly enough.

Arrived on time, perfect finish to work completed. Stuck to original price quoted even though extra needed to be done to stregthen ceiling. Would recommend to anyone.

I live in a 1910 built terraced house in Fenham Newcastle upon Tyne. I currently have access, via a door off the top landing and stepped ladder, into the loft area which has two very old fixed glass windows. I am considering converting the area to use as a hobby room. The project could vary from just replacing the existing two and adding two more to make Velux windows: to fully converting the area including a staircase (without affecting the landing area). The area has previously been floored and the standing area is approximately 3M x 6.5M with additionally the roof slope 2M either side of that; the area containing the ladder is approx 75cm x 200cm. I am investigating what is possible at present so plans would need to be prepared by the successful provider. I am not sure what budget is required for this project but do not want to re-structure the rest of my house to accommodate the use of the loft as temporary working space.
