Repair Cast Iron Railings and install gate and staircase to lower ground
Gerome and his crew got started really quickly and got the job done. There were some snagging issues - but these were dealt with quickly and with attention to detail Gerome also sent the quote throgh on the same day, which helped in my decision to use this trader as the other one was very slow to communicate

Simple bespoke items to be made, powder coated finish. We are looking to gain a relationship with a metal worker who can deliver on time is reasonably priced. We are an interior design firm always building one off pieces and are very keen to find a metal worker who enjoys new tasks. Contact Alexander Evangelou
Great service, good communication skills, they can read cad drawings with little issues. Looking to use them again.

Z shaped edge of patio needs safety railings supplied and fitted to protect against drop into basement lightwell. Railings ideally to match existing ironwork on house but prepared to have cheaper railings if cost too much.
I asked Structural Steel to quote for a job in August 2010. We agreed terms and completion of work in September 2010. After some delay, they took away my damaged gate, said they had fabricated a new one and kept on promising me a date to come and fix it. They made and broke their promises on five occasions to come and complete the work. They still have my old gate which is effectively theft. I am considering taking legal action against them.

Handrails to go down the steps at the front of the house and down to the basement area. These should be black cast iron to match the railings at the front. Also there is a gap at the side of the house that we want a gate fitted into for security. Again, this should be in black cast iron. We need the hand rails fitted ASAP but the security gate can be done at leisure.
We asked Vinny to design, build and install handrails at the front of our house and a bespoke high security gate at the side. Vinny gave us the best quote out of three (£1,759 which is expensive but bear in mind these were made from scratch to fit our specifications) and did a fantastic job. He started and finished the job promptly, sent us drawings of how the gate would look before he ordered it to make sure we were happy with the design, and built and installed everything to a very high standard. He accepted half the payment at the start, with the balance paid on completion. We were very happy with the result and would have no hesitation booking Vinny again or recommending him to anyone else.

rails to replicate Victorian rails at front of house
beautiful work- the railings are the envy of my neighbours and are an exact match to the Victorian originals. The work people are really pleasant and very skilled. Thoroughly recommended. 5 stars in every category

The council has served a notice on us because the there is a significant drop from the 'driveway' to the basement flat which is deemed unsafe. We are required to put a metal railing along the edge of the drop. We would like to keep the railing in line with similar railings to our neighbours which have some king of pattern at the top of each railing ie spear shaped (flexible on patterns of railing tough). The railing is not in a straight line, but follow the edge of the drop (ie it will be 3 straight lines). I haven't measured the area, but it is approximately 7 metres.

There are 5 steps to the main house which are supported by steel struts from beneath. My flat is a basement flat, so the steps form the ceiling to my kitchen. The current supports are rusted and need replacing. Care must be taken such that the steps are adequately supported whilst the steel is being replaced.
