"We asked Mr Crawford to paint our stair banisters. He's a friendly chap who worked quickly and with a minimum of mess. The final effect looks great! He quoted a reasonable figure for two days work. He actually completed the job in one day charging us the same amount. While we're not out of pocket, his hourly rate is over £50 per hour (allowing a generous sum for paint), which seemed a little expensive. We only got one quote for this, so maybe should have got a second one. Overall we're satisfied with the job."
