Wallpapering of living/dining room and possibly painting of same.
Mark was very prompt in calling to give a quotation and was able to do the job within a good timescale. A couple of things I asked him to look at again and he did without question and quickly. He left everywhere very tidy. I will definitely use him again in the future. TS, Timperley.
Updated : the £250 is a budget for one-bedroom. it's the back box room of a three-bedroom house. woodwork would consist of built-in wardrobe door and bedroom door and skirting boards. emulsion bedroom ceiling. Strip and decorate walls. the room will be completely stripped of all furniture. I would like the works to commence on 31 July. I did mention maybe landing stairs and Hall that would be a different budget and a different time. Original : A bedroom And maybe landing stairs and Hall
Painting all exterior windows, front Porch and porch door, garage doors and kitchen patio doors. House is 4 bed semi detached in Timperley with approx 11 windows to paint plus doors as listed. If possible to start before Christmas, some new windows being fitted 17th december so around then would be great.
Very pleased with the work carried out by Jnd decorators, the painters were punctual, tidy, polite and efficient and have done a quality job going above and beyond what was required. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to others.

Jason is a very reliable and hard working painting contractor. He quoted straight away and was able to make an almost immediate start to the work. He was meticulous in his approach and did a first rate job on painting the interior and exterior of the house. My neighbours were also impressed which helped him pick up two further jobs. I would have no hesitation in recommending his services.
Updated : Painting lounge, dining room (both of which have been recently plastered) and hall (which is due to be stripped and possibly plastered soon) walls and skirts in a 1930s semi in Timperley. One wall of the lounge to be wallpapered. Original : Painting lounge, dining room (both of which need existing textured paint smoothing out), hall, stairs and landing (all of which need existing wallpaper stripped) in a 1930s semi in Timperley.
Paul did a fantastic job for a great price. He gave us sound advice before commencing the job, showed great attention to detail throughout and left our place clean and tidy upon completion. Would definitely use Paul again and wouldn't think twice about recommending him.
Need to paint 3 areas of the house, the cost of each will dictate whether we can get all 3 areas done, or just 1 or 2:
1. Primary area that we definitely need doing is hall and 2 landing areas. It's a large space covering 2 staircases. It will have been freshly plastered so the plaster will need sealing. Some parts are high and awkward so you'll need the necessary equipment to reach.
2. Bedroom number 1: walls and ceiling to be painted. Ceiling freshly plastered so will need sealing, walls mainly OK to paint straight on to
3. Bedroom number 2: walls and ceiling to be painted. All freshly plastered so will need sealing
Alex did a fantastic job painting our house. He was punctual, hardworking, polite, and the finish was great.
I would highly recommend and will use him again for any future decorating jobs.

Services required: painting, removing wallpaper 1 x lounge/living room We would certainly like the ceiling doing - it has wallpaper on it and we'd like it removing and repairing/painting as necessary. There are 2 beams in the lounge ceiling (painted white) and we'd like to paint the ceiling and beams white again. Depending on price we may do the woodwork and walls ourselves or ask the decorator to do this too. I would like some advice before deciding who will supply materials

Services required: wallpapering - patterned 2 x lounge/living rooms I have two jobs. one is to hang wallpaper on a chimney breast only. It will probably need lining paper first, and then wallpaper hanging horizontally. the fill width of the paper that needs to be cut is approx. 93 inches It needs two complete pieces hanging horizontally and then much smaller pieces at the side of the fireplace It is a harlequin wallpaper
The second job is to wallpaper one complete wall in a room, it includes a chimney breast and will use laura Ashley wallpaper that has a repeat pattern of 63cm. (we have not yet stripped this wallpaper),we are not sure if lining paper will be required on this. Thanks Kathryn Surfaces are in good repair I have all the materials
Services required: painting 1 x kitchen our kitchen badly needs decorating, some of the paint is flaky, so there would be some sanding and touching up. Surfaces need some repair I would like some advice before deciding who will supply materials
Customer owns and lives at this property
Services required: painting 1 x lounge/living room Glossing and emulstion work required for large, very high ceilinged front room, victorian decor - 5m x 4.5m into bay window.
Gloss work - 1) Skirting board all round, depth - 15cm. 2) Bay window all frames & shallow sill - comprising 4 x 91cm wide windows* 3) Arched window* frame - 1m x 45cm, deeply recessed into wall. 4) Picture rail all round - standard design and height on wall. 5) Door frame - 5cm deep. 6) Door, both sides - 2m x 80cm. Antique, 4 panels. Completely stripped. 7) Sill to arched window - 50 x 30cm. *period stained glass.
Emulsion work - 1) Ceiling - 5m x 4.5m (v. high ceiling) 2) Ceiling rose in centre of ceiling - 75cm diameter (not sure if period or not but can be painted over as is). 3) Coving all round - 10cm deep, very high up. 4) Recessed archway 1m x 45cm.
All surfaces to be glossed already have old gloss on them which is not flaking or peeling**. I am budgeting on each surface requiring a light sanding for preparation and just one fresh coat of white gloss. **one sill has a crack in the paint (approx 20cm long) will take advice on action needed in this case.
Surfaces to be emulsioned are currently wallpapered in white/ cream. Paper is in good repair and can be painted over with no preparation (might be the odd corner that needs gluing down again but can't see any obvious bits like that). The ceiling rose is currently painted in white emulsion which is in good repair and just needs a fresh coat.
The room will be unfurnished but I will have just sanded the floor, so obviously, floorcoverings will be needed. As mentioned above, the arched window and the small top panes of the bay windows have antique stained glass and so protection for this will be needed. Under the arched window is a large antique mahogany victorian mantelpiece which will need protection and will make it more of a stretch to properly reach all areas of the deeply recessed arched window, but should be fine with a stepladder.
Hope to hear from you soon. Surfaces are in good repair I would like some advice before deciding who will supply materials
