Painting the inside of a traditional 3 bedroom semi detached house. All walls have been stripped of wallpaper and scrubbed clean. some cracks have been filled and sanded, others still need attention. there is a small area of wall 4m^2 at the top of the stairs which still needs to be stripped of wallpaper (i couldnt reach it) Require a quote for painting the walls (paint provided) and ceilings of 3 bedrooms and the lounge, dining room, kitchen and hall stairs and landing. Require a separate quote for glossing all the woodwork in the house, (skirting boards, door frames and banisters).skirting boards are new and have come primed. Windows are UPVC so do not require any painting. Our house is currently empty of all furniture and carpets which should make things a bit easier.
Richard and Steve from Ochre have done a fantastic job preparing and painting all the walls, ceilings and woodwork in the interior of my house. They have a great work ethic and have worked so hard to get my project finished. The finish to all the surfaces is good and I would definitely recommend them. They are both lovely, trustworthy, communicative chaps and I will be using them again on any future houses.

I would highly recommend Alan and his team to anyone looking for a fast, friendly service and high quality decorating at an unbeatable price. We had several rooms decorated in our home and were really impressed by the quality of the paintwork and minimal mess. The guys on the job were a pleasure to have in my home, they were helpful, curteous and nothing was too much trouble - they went out of their way to ensure that I was completely happy with the job. Once the job was finished I wasn't entirely happy with the look of the agreed water based gloss on a few ledges, I contacted Alan and the very next morning he arrived with a couple of lads and repainted them with an oil based gloss instead without any fuss or quibble. I will definitely use Alan P Decorators again and will also be recommending their services to others!

Semi-detached house in Upton needs filling of picture hook holes and painting of the following: Hallway, kitchen, 2 living rooms, stairs, landing, 2 medium sized, bedrooms, office, toilet and bathroom.
Alan came to our property to give us a realistic quote which in our opinion was essential as some of the walls needed a lot of preparation. Alan was both honest and realistic about what he could do and how it would look. After tailoring the quote to our needs, we accepted. There were a few hiccups regarding the starting date, but it has to be said for the one day lost, Alan and his Team certainly made up on time without compromising the quality of work. The preparation of the walls was more important than we had imagined, and Alan and his Team did a wonderful job at filling holes and smoothing out bumps and blemishes. The painting had been done to a high standard with very little damaged (we had carpets, expensive light fittings and switches and fitted blinds that were not being replaced post-paint work). Alan, of course, was very meticulous and checked the areas covered before finishing. This was important to us and we were impressed that he took so much pride in the job itself. We would definitely recommend Alan and his Team and we would use them again without hesitation.

Hallway - 6 doors (plus front door) gloss woodwork and paint ceiling. Previously painted - considering wallpaper but due to arch not sure if practical. Woodwork already sanded.
