Updated : We have decided we probably need to do all of the house which includes:- painting thelounge and kitchen - ceilings, walls and window frames (no skirting boards). Painting the stairs and small hall, ceilings walls and skirting. Painting the two bedrooms (including skirting boards, ceilings and one window frame in each). Only one bedroom has lining paper which will need removing. Painting a small bathroom (two walls and ceiling and one window frame). The paint etc can be purchased by us and so is not included in the quote estimate. Original : We have one bedroom and stairs/ small landing where ceiling Walls and woodwork need repainting. Some lining wallpaper also needs replacing. We may also consider some further decorating of the rest of the house (2 bed cottage) depending on the quote.

Not very happy - our decorator seemed to treat our job as a useful bit of extra work between more important jobs. He took two weeks to complete a relatively simple task, mainly as he never seemed to spend a whole day with us.

Sitting room needs painting-walls and woodwork. Presently painted and in pretty good condition. A little preparation/ sanding needed. Approx. dimensions 12' x 14' ? 1 window. 3 doors (but doors don't need painting).
We were delighted with the job done by Mark and cannot praise him highly enough! He turned up when he said he would, worked extremely hard and did a really good job for a reasonable price. His attention to detail was excellent- in fact he seemed to be something of a perfectionist- and all was done with minimum mess and fuss. We'll certainly use him again. We have a beautifully finished sitting room-a far better job than we could have done ourselves, and better than decorators we have employed on previous occasions!

Some wall have some staining so was thinking of using breathable paints? Not in bad condition some small areas of making good may need doing in bathroom as probably going to have a vent installed. That may require a little plastering if electricity is chased into wall
