I have a kitchen that needs decorating. Two coats of matt emulshion on the ceiling and two on the walls. The only gloss work will be the skirting, however, it will need stopping in sanding then painting. No doors or windows. This is following a refurb job, the walls are new plaster but have had a one coat of emulshion to prime. Size 15' x 15'

we have recently had a new bathroom installed, and during this damage to our landing wall was sustained. It was plastered so the job could be finished, but now we nedd someone to match the paint to the rest of the (relatively) recently painted staircase. We will also have other jobs to do in different rooms as we clear them and refurbish.
Martin responded immediately, arrived within the hour, even located the original paint I required, which was not a common one, prepared the wall and repainted it perfectly. Job done within 2 hours. Outstanding, and he was charming, polite and an excellent tradesman. I will have Martin back any time and would not hestate to recommend him to anyone. Thank you.

I have 5 large external sash windows and 1 double door that need painting ASAP on a south west facing house. They need painting ASAP before the autumn/winter. I am looking for a very good honest quote and then if awarded the contract an exceptional job done. If the job is good then I will require the other sides of the house doing in a rotational basis annually - This would be a very good long term contract to the right team. As speed is of the essence I would expect exceptional references whom I would telephone, a minimum of 2 people and the job to be started (and completed) in the next month. I do know that it is weather dependent.
This decorator rang on the day and came and quoted that afternoon - the quote was very competitive and he completed the job the next week! The quality of the work was exceptional and I will certainly be getting him back to do all the other windows and doors. If I had sufficient funds I would have got him to do the whole lot there and then. 5*

Pannelled Lath and Plaster Bedroom ceiling has lots of cracks in it. I have cleaned of most of the flaking paint and now need it papered.
Responded on the day I posted the job and then came out to quote in the afternoon. I booked him to do the job there and then. The preparation took longer than I hoped so I had to put him back a few days - nevertheless he came out on a Sunday morning to do the job which suited me. I have waited a week to rate him just in case the paper fell down - all Ok! As far as I am concerned he is 5* and when he comes back from holiday I have a couple more jobs for him!
