Services required: painting 1 x lounge/living room We have just had the ceiling and walls (down to picture rail) re-plastered and would like quotes for 1. Sealing/painting this (approx area of ceiling is 20sqm and walls above picture rail approx 13.5sqm.) and 2. Decorating the entire room. The walls below the picture rail (approx 35sqm)are papered with textured paper so would require emulsioning. Gloss would be required on the picture rail, skirting board, door and cupboard. The windows do not require painting. Thanks Surfaces are in good repair I would like the tradesman to supply all materials
Bill gave good advice on colours when he quoted for the job. He worked virtually continuously all day and his work was to a very high standard. He kept us informed at all stages of the work and even went the extra mile to get radiator enamel mixed to match the wall colour. Require painting of a newly plastered house. Approximately 550 M sq in size need someone to start ASAP. Looking for good quality Magnolia on the walls and white on the ceilings.
Turned up on morning of job then left after 1 hour without any warning . Then when I phoned he said he would come back at 11 but didn't turn up. Haven't heard from him since. Really messed me about when he could have just said he was off to another job and I would have got someone else.

We are refurbishing our 4 bedroom house plus kitchen (after 15 odd years of kids etc) , living room and drawing room. in Murrayfield involving new kitchen, window refurbishment , carpets , etc etc. We then want to redecorate the house just painting the walls and all wood work (properly prepped). We will require the 11 windows' exteriors + Front Door done too. One bedroom 5m X 4m requires the ceiling wood chip stripped and replaced with lining paper. The rooms are not enormous and not too high (2.2m). The hall way does not require scaffolding. We dont really want a one man job as we want to push on.
