Lounge approx. 20ft x 14ft needs redecorating. Existing walls painted red! Would like them to be painted a neutral colour and woodwork to be painted white. Would like the work to be done soon
The most expensive of the three quotes given, but the other two companies failed to notice that some plastering work needed doing, which Top Dec carried out. The work took approx. two days and they ensured that my furniture and new flooringwas well protected with dust sheets etc.

I have a bedroom for decoration. The room is 4m wide by 5.7m long (in to the bay window) and 2.7m high. I will prepare the walls and supply the materials. The job is 1) repair a 1 m2 area of ceiling (water damage has caused lining paper to peel off) 2) paint ceiling and coving in white paint 3) hang lining paper on 3 walls and paint 4) paint skirting boards and woodwork 5) hang accent wallpaper on 4th.

I have a mid terrace 1930 house. I would like 2 different quotes. 1. To repaint the gutters, facings, downpipes and around 3 windows (not window panes) at the back of the house. 2. To paint the back wall which covers 1st floor level, ground floor and basement.
John and his team were very nice and easy to chat to, came when they said they would be (weather permitting) and did a good job. I felt that their quote was very good.

Recently skimmed walls (or same + 1 coat). All rooms with high ceilings. Plain paint for 3 large rooms. Plain paint for walls in very large hallway including around stairwell areas on 3 levels. Some woodwork to be painted, some varnished. Need work completed by first week in March, so no pressure!
Mr McKay was most helpful as we went through the process of choosing a painter, and his quote was very competitive. Unfortunately we have decided to put off doing the work for the time being, but I would like to thank him for his assistance.

We need the back of a 3 storey house painted, and the windows back and front. We should have scoffolding for the back for a roof repair, and the front is only 2 storey so can be done from a ladder I think.
Excellent job, all workmen very pleasant and professional throughout, and the job was finished quickly and to a high standard. Homepride Decor scheduled their work to accomodate other jobs being done on the house, and put made very good suggestions about the materials to be used. Their thought and consideration has made for very happy customers! Would definitely recommend.

Years of bad DIY paint jobs to be fixed... Hallway, staircase wall and upstairs landing (and ceiling) to be painted. Ceiling and one wall will be newly plastered. Bannister to be painted. 3 bedrooms to be papered with lining paper and painted. All ceilings included. Ceiling of bathroom to be painted, and possibly (depending on the cost) the kitchen. All windowsills and skritings in above areas to be painted. 4/5 "solid" doors to be painted. 2 * 15 pane glass doors to be either varnished or painted (these doors may be getting replaced with another style but still glass). Remove flaky paint and repaint gutters/facings, down pipes and around windows (2 double windows and 2 single windows) not windowpanes as double glazed but around the window - and back door. 2. Paint the remaining of the back of the house in contrast colour, at present not painted.
