Unsold Job, Updated Details : Budget................I picked a number from the site but need to understand from you what a realistic price is. To help with an estimate the window sizes are:- 3 off 115cm x 100cm 2 opening windows each 4 off 60cm x 100cm 1 opening window each 3 off 170cm x 100cm 2 opening windows each 1 off 175cm x 120cm 2 opening windows 1 off 230cm x 135cm 2 opening windows Original : Looking for a quote to paint the outside woodwork on my house which was built in 2008. The house is detached, two storey with 4 bedrooms, plus detached garage. Only involves windows (12 off), front door, utility room door and personnel door to garage. Windows are double glazed panels in softwood frames all in good condition but south facing weather strips are just beginning to show cracks on paint finish. Patio doors are UPVC, no painting required There are no facia boards or soffits. Garage up & over doors all good no painting required.
Great job painting the outside of my house at short notice. John is an experienced tradesman, preparation was excellent, attention to detail great and the finished job first class. A1 Painters were price competitive the job started and completed on time. They were diligent with the use of protective covers and kept the site clear and clean throughout the paint process. Cotswold cottage, recently extended and renovated. External windows and doors (softwood) have been primed and undercoated, now require white gloss. Work needs doing very quickly, as we have a deadline.
We needed an exterior decorator urgently. Robin replied to our request almost inmmediately and made other arrangements so he could start work within 2 days. We are very satisfied with his workmanship. He completed the work quickly and reliably. We asked him to do another small job for us which he willingly agreed to.

Mick Avery (High spec Works) has recently finished 3 weeks work on our house and we are delighted with what he has achieved. Of the 5 people who came to quote on our exterior decorating his price was mid-range but he was the only one to also include in that price fixing other issues that he’d spotted (he’s repaired and re-rendered walls, repointed slabs, replaced rotten fascia & sills, resealed & rehung windows, added missing flashing). He exudes knowledge, enthusiasm and confidence in an unpushy and very personable kind of way. It has been a pleasure to have him working here and we are hoping he’ll be available to take on our interior in the future. We have found him to be honest, reliable and thorough - ‘a competitively priced 5 star professional’ - I have already recommended him to friends.

I'm not sure
the rspca charity shop in stroud needs the interior walls painted ,size approx 30'x50'.this is a very rough estimate.you would need to come and see shop as to doors/windows and real size.job needs to be done at end of june/beginning of july and as quick as possible [but not too quickly so quality is not compromised]
jenny gave an excellent quote and then did a wonderful job.the public have all commented what a great job was done and someone asked for her number.i would highly recommend jenny for any decorating job.

Internal painting of Grade II listed Georgian house. Four bedrooms, four reception rooms, four bathrooms, kitchen, hall, 2 landings and utility room. We require every room to be painted in the same colour (a neutral white or beige), all celings painted white and all internal wood painted one colour, such as skirting boards, door frames, window frames and three book cases. (22 internal doors and 20 windows, internal painting only). No plastering required. All walls are currently painted, no wallpaper to remove. Approx Gross Internal Area 3,170 sq feet.
We are very happy with the quality of work delivered. Jay was very professional and did not cut any corners. This was a very big job (full paint of over 20 rooms, doors and windows of a large family house), it would have been easy to lose enthusiasm towards the end but Jay remainded focused and committed. We trusted Jay with a key of his own and he worked many days without us there to see progess. We have asked Jay to come back to carry out further work, this time to the exterior. Highly recommended.
