Job To paint the very high walls and ceiling of a bedroom, 14ft 6ins x 9ft 6ins.

Comment Original work in painting walls & ceiling of bedroom was good & we would have given five stars in each category. However, after finishing & being paid in full, the following evening we found a broken blind slat. The reply to my email about this said "I'll pop in tonight on the way home for you". As it was a 'no show', I sent an email saying "As you didn't come this evening, what's the situation?". There has been no response to this and this has affected our ratings in all categories. Robert

Comment Although not the cheapest quote from the three we were given, Steve provided a staggeringly good service for the price. No, he hasn't paid me to say that; he genuinely is a fantastic professional. I was worried about getting a decorator in for the first time because I (and my wife) are very fussy and have very high standards. I needn't have worried, Steve did a fabulous job. If his singing was as good as his paintwork, then he'd be on stage in Vegas!! :-) In addition, the invoice provided was accurate and professional, detailing all the work down to the smallest detail with costs associated in order for us to track the progress of the job.
