Updated : Skirting boards and door frames also require preparation and repainting throughout. Original : We are looking for a quote to redecorate living room / dining room, hall landing and stairs and 2x double bedrooms. The property is currently empty and available immediately. We would like the work undertaken as soon as possible. Living room and hall, landing stairs are currently painted and require preparation, repainting walls and ceiling, stripping paint from window frames and repainting. 1x bedroom is currently papered with woodchip wallpaper on the walls and paper (not woodchip) on the ceiling, which needs removing. Not sure of the state of the plaster underneath. Needs existing paper removing, preparation and painting. Currently has polystyrene coving, which I would like removed and replaced with wooden coving. Window sills also need stripping and repainting. Existing fireplace has been boarded over and we may want to open that out. 1x bedroom has wooden wardrobe frames and plasterboard to either side of the chimney breast, which needs removing in order to restore the room to its original dimensions. Some of the plaster may have blown, and some repatching is probably required. Requires removal of wardrobe frames, preparation and repainting. There are some unidentified pipes to the RHS of the chimney, which may need boxing in. Existing fireplace has been boarded over and we may want to open that out.
Steve and Andy just redecorated our new house. I was delighted with the whole process. I got a detailed quote listing labour plus all materials at the outset; there were no surprises. They pulled out all the stops (working through the jubilee w/e) so we could move in on time. Old and cracked walls look brand new and have been painted with care and attention to detail. putting up wallpaper on 4 walls in 4 different rooms painting the wall on 2 staircases (about 14m2 total) painting 2 walls in the livingroom (total painting of about 15m2) the house is a newbuild (occupied) so 2 covers of paint should do the job (still white walls - from when we got the keys)

The tradesman said he would yake 3 days to do the job. The first day he couldn't tun up because of a family illness. When it came to payment he wanted to be paid in full athough he only worked two days. He said we agreed on the fee but not on the number of days worked. One door frame was not painted. The inside frame of the bathroom. I did not want to ask him back as I have a friend who will do the job.

Internal - 5 rooms - 9 internal doors - smoke dammage - needs to be sealed, ceiling and walls painted, plus doors/skirting boards (all woodwork)
I would highly recommend Haycroft - they did a fantastic job and finished on time and to spec.

There are three small-ish bedrooms, and a small living room, dining room and bathroom that all need repainting. A few of the walls have been badly plastered and are covered in holes from shelves and picture hooks so will need smoothing over.
