Painting two newly plastered bedrooms.
Danny has been fantastic right from the beginning with good communication; he gave us a good quote, arrived on time and always courteous. He worked very hard and was very tidy. He even fixed some floorboards for us which was very kind of him. The end job is excellent and I would refer him anyone needing a reliable, trustworthy and very professional painter. We will be using him again in the future - unless he is too busy of course! Thanks Danny we are really very happy with the work.

Small downstairs cloakroom needs walls repapered and woodwork painted. Also exterior of house (eaves, downpipes, garage door, some woodwork and staining to front door.
Mario and his father came promptly to estimate and then started work a couple of days later. They worked 12+ hour days, so that the job was completed quickly, and cleared up all mess. They are flexible and obliging, and have skills beyond decorating.

Make good the exterior of a 1920s loft converted bungalow. Has not been maintained for a number of years. So some re-pointing of brickwork required, some brickwork below the damp course is flaking. Walls need painting with Dulux weathershield.Creepers removed. A few of the corner roof tiles are flaking.
Quality of workmanship was excellent. Would have preferred a more detailed description in the quote.

Two rooms to start! If good then more of the house to follow! We require a good standard decorator/painter. Lots of wiring has been chased so walls need to be made smooth, windowsills have cracked and settled so need filling in and ceilings. Skirting boards need to be removed and new skirting fixed. Second room requires mostly filling in window sills and decorating nicely.
A great decorating service. George was efficient and reliable, even returning later on to repaint some parts. He wasn't the cheapest, but we would use him again.

We used Decor by Elliott's to repaint our offices. I got a number of quotes and they came in by far the cheapest. I was a little concerned that cheaper would mean poorer quality but I was very pleasantly surprised. The work was carried out by the owner, Wayne Elliott, and he clearly takes a great deal of pride in his work. Wayne was able to carry out the job almost straight away after the quote was accepted. He turned up when he said he would and was always on time. As they were work premises he worked throughout the night and at weekends over the course of a couple of weeks. The quality of his work is impeccable and he did such a good job of tidying up after himself you would hardly know he'd been here (apart from the freshly painted walls!). I would highly recommend Decor by Elliott's and we will certainly use them again for any future refurbishment work.

Erect ladders as necessary. Clean out gutters & flush through. Wash and brush down, render walls where necessary. Prepare minor cracks for decorating Apply 2 coats of exterior masonry paint.
Barry painted all our exterior walls over a period of a few days in Winter. He was timely, hard-working (worked from early until after dark), good value and his work was a very high standard. I would have no hesititation in asking him to do further work or in recommending his services.

Double garage needs decorating. New plasterboard ceiling and door casement. The new plasterboard could either be plastered or cross lined. The upper floor is slightly flexible so cross lining will probably give the better long term results. Joints will need to be taped, screw holes filled and all the plasterboard areas cross lined in a heavy lining paper before being painted in white emulsion to cover. (Probably 3 coats.) Garage won't be empty but floor will be clear. Sheeting will need to be thorough to prevent paint splashes on contents. Simple enough job no access difficulties and all indoors so weather delays won't be a problem.
