FRONT AND REAR ELEVATION INCLUDING SCAFFOLDING EXTERIOR for a 3 storey Victorian, end of terrace building. Exterior windows and sills: Fill and abrade all holes and cracks. Rub down all areas and remove any loose or flaking paint. Cut out any areas of rotten wood and piece in as required. Fill all holes and or cracks with exterior filler and rub down to provide a smooth finished surface. Remove all loose or damaged putty, scrape out loose debris and apply new putty. Apply primer to unpainted areas, followed by undercoat to all areas and finally a top gloss coat.
We haven't commenced with work as yet though we have every confidence so far; we are still at quote stage. Even so, Harris's communication and confidence that he gives us in the job is great, also the value that he offers us outstrips his competitors. He gets booked up well in advance for a good reason and that must be because he has a reputation for doing jobs so well. I shall look forward to when the work is done and post another comment then.

2 internal paint jobs 1) Kitchen walls and ceiling painting New kitchen fitted recently,now need to finish off the walls and re-paint ceiling (approx 15sq metres total ceiling and wall panels) Already plastered/wood panelled so ready to paint. 2) Bedroom ceiling requires cleaning (mould due to condensation) and repainting with anti-fungal paint, plus wall crack needs filling and repainting. Large bedroom: ceiling and possibly 2 walls to ensure colour matches. We'd like these jobs completed by early January if possible.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Arek - our jobs were professonally completed ahead of schedule and at a great price. He is reliable, tidy and pro-active. Brilliant!

Two bedrooms to be decorated in a flat in Tufnell Park, N7. Bedrooms are each approximately 3m x 4m and each have floor to ceiling wardrobes on one wall. Job entails: 1) Painting ceilings in white emulsion (to be supplied by tradesperson) 2) Paint four walls in colour emulsion (we already have the paint) 3) Wallpaper two walls (we already have the paper) 4) Paint two radiators white (paint to be supplied by tradesperson) 5) Woodwork - sand down and repaint both window frames, skirting boards, one side of doors and wardrobes in gloss. Window sills also have cracks in them which will need to be filled with wood filler. Ideally we would like this work done by the first week of November.
Clayton did a great job in decorating our two bedrooms. He was prompt, completed the job on schedule and kept the work areas tidy. In addition, he was able to reseal our bath on short notice. I also felt his quote was very reasonable and as such he offers good value for money.

We need a small flat painted white by the end of the month as we are renting it out. The flat has an entrance hall, a bedroom , living room and a kitchen, all of which need doing. There are one or 2 very small areas that need plastering over in the kitchen.
Jozsef is friendly, professional and honest. He was the only person that I felt gave an honest appraisal of the job, and his quote was very reasonable. He is incredibly knowledgeable and pushes to get the work done to a high quality, probably better than we actually needed. He was happy to work odd hours, and a changing deadline didn't seem to worry him too much - he still got the work done on time - and even managed to squeeze in a few extra's. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anybody.

We need to repaint the exterior of our house (Crouch Hill), a double-fronted three-story conversion at the top of Crouch Hill. There are four large bay windows at the front of house, and 10 other windows around the property. We would also like to repaint the interior communal parts, which include a hallway c. 20ft x 5ft and the stairwell.
LA Decor undertook a substantial repainting job for us this summer, tackling both the inside shared areas of our Victorian conversion and the exterior of the building. Work ranged from restoring badly weathered windows to repointing sections of brickwork, repairing broken guttering, and restoring stonework. Lee and his team were superb - reliable, unfailingly pleasant and considerate, and professional in their approach. They took real pride in the work, and costs were both transparent and very fair.

The initial work by Scott’s team had poor quality prep and a rushed finish (missed skirting & doorframes, not enough coats on windows, uneven cutting in) meaning most things had to be redone by Scott himself & the job took nearly 2 weeks. Ideally things should have been checked during the process rather than just at the end, which would have prevented most of the issues. In the end Scott resolved everything & worked fast to complete the job. Not the cheapest, but Scott is amiable & result is satisfactory.
