Looking for someone to prepare (where required) and gloss various internal wood features. There are two staircases (one new and bare wood, one previously painted with top coat sanded but some further prep work required), 9 internal (new, factory undercoated) doors with stops to be painted, some are in pre-existing frames which need to be prepared and repainted, and finally skirting in a new loft room (factory undercoated boards) and then landing and hallway (to be sanded/prepared). Some of the detail has been lost on the architrave, or "lumps and bumps" have been painted in over time on the skirting. I am looking to have this sanded down to a flat finish (where practical), so there is some prep work required rather than just a quick freshen up. I'm looking to get a couple of comparative quotes, and for the work to be completed during March, the sooner the better. Location SW19 (Colliers Wood), can provide parking on site, work can be completed Mon-Sat.
We were very pleased with the work Marcin did following our recent building work. The attention to detail was good but what was truly outstanding was his reliability. Probably one of the most tidy tradesmen I've ever met too.

We needed someone urgently to do some decorating before the carpets arrived - Rico understood the urgency & worked very hard to ensure he finished the job on time. Overall the work done was pretty good and Rico proved to be a reliable person. I was happy with his work and would certainly recommend his services, and would use him again for any future work we may have.

I require a painter/decorator to paint (walls & ceilings) for Lounge, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and hallway. Each room is painted the same colour Brillant White Currenly I have lining paper and this may need to be replaced in areas. I am looking to start the work 2 weeks of August.
I am extremely happy with the workmanship and quality of service I recieved from Kevin Warden. He responded to my inital request and provided quote within a few days of submitted my job request to this site. He was able to fit into the schedule of my other building work and completed the decorating within the timeframe and quote he provided. Kevin raised with me, the condition of the walls and advised that lining paper would not be adequate coverage and recommended embossed paper. I am very pleased with the additional quote and embossed paper that he chosed. I am extremely pleased with the end result and would definatley recommend Kevin Warden to friends and family.

Martin gave us a competitive quote. We only had a week in which we could have the work done and he worked late to ensure it was finished in time. I would recommend Martin and have asked him to quote for future work.

I need my front window frames (wood), sills and window recesses (masonry) painted (x5). Materials provided but ladder needed for upper windows. Some preparation work undertaken (masonry stablised and wood primed) some further prep may be needed.
Steve did a great job of painting my front window frames (wood and masonry). He turned up promptly to quote and the work was done to deadline, the quote was accurate. The windows look great and have held up to the elements! Would recommend him to others.

Property: New build. 2006. Rented flat in Colliers Wood. Problem: Ensuite ceiling bathroom extractor fan was not working and condensation has damaged the surrounding plasterboard. Job: Electrician has replaced the extractor fan but because of the condensation damage the surrounding ceiling will need to be cut out and replaced. Ceiling needs to be made good and extractor fan surround sealed with normal bathroom sealant when ceiling repaired.
