Painting the front of a 2 storey house and front door. has new windows, so painting around windows will be straightforward.
Very reliable and helpful. Excellent quality of work at a fair price. Got job done as quickly as possible and flexible with timings as to when suited us. Also polite and friendly and cleaned everything up at the end of a days work. We would definately recommend.Anna
There is some damp which needs to be sorted. Then we need to have the following re-painted: 2 bedrooms, hallway, small bathroom, small kitchen. There may need to be small repairs done to the walls.
We asked Nigel to decorate our rental flat and his workmanship, professionalism and skill was such a high standard that we then asked him to decorate some rooms in our home. Nigel was a pleasure to have in our home and did a tremendous job. He really is a prefectionist and his work is faultless. I would recommend him to everyone and will be asking him to come back and do some more rooms in the not too distant future. Thank you Nigel and Luke!Nathalie
To hang lining paper (thick) over existing lining paper (thin) in a 4 metre by 3 metre room.
Very quick response to my initial enquiry and a very reasonable price. Milidar is very friendly and professional and has done a great job of wallpapering my living room. I will definitely be using Milidar again in the near future and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.Kelly
really happy with their painter, very friendly and professional, gets the job done and he left the kitchen and bathroom tidier than it was before! :-)Brian
preparation, minor filling, skirting board clean up and painting for 2xliving rooms and downstairs hall way, staircase and upstairs landing area.
Adam and his team from Mac Contractors provided a faultless decorating service from end to end and were the best value for money of the quotes received.Matt
Bedroom requires decoration and making good. Room is approx 12ft x 12ft, walls currently finished in lining paper and painted over. Require paper removing, walls/ceiling making good and repainting in emulsion, 2 walls in colour, other 2 walls and ceiling in white. NB ceiling is high and goes up into eaves slightly. Some plasterwork on ceiling/eaves looks cracked beneath paper and may need patching. Woodwork, doors, skirting to be made good and repainted, brilliant white (skirting boards ancient and some repair may be needed). A couple of electrical sockets are loose and could do with re-fixing/doubling too if possible. House is currently furnished and occupied. High standard of finish valued. Will be getting downstairs redecorated later in year too so a good job will bring repeat business :-)
Prompt and fair estimate, good standard of workmanship, job started and completed on time - very pleasedSimon

Dave completed the job in the agreed timeline to a high standard, I have no hesitation in recommending himJulia

Unsold Job, Updated Details : This is primarily a plastering job. Painting could be removed from job by negotiation. Original : We have a stairwell that was re-positioned during a house renovation some years ago. Since then the plasterboard has subsided and settled 30-50 mm from it's original position, causing an unsightly gap to appear and a lot of the skimming has fallen away. We need to fill this gap in a thorough, permanent manner with an attractive painted finish of the WHOLE stairwell, including the ceiling and woodwork. A photo can be supplied.

Hi - I have just bought a 3 bedroom house in Barnes, South-West London. Prior to moving in I require the 1st 2 floors to have every ceiling and wall prepared and then painted. I will require the downstairs wood-flooring to be painted, as well as all window sills to be prepared and finished. The property is 1,100 sqaue feet but this includes the loft conversion which doesnt need to be addressed.
I would require the work to commence around the end of November/beginning of December. Please let me know availability and ball-park cost (obviously a more thorough survey of the property will be undertaken prior to the start).
Regards
Tim

Full interior painting of 1058sqft, 3 bed Victorian house in Barnes (excluding bathroom).
Gross internal area of 1058sqft is inclusive of a standard size combined shower room/bathroom, which will *not* be painted.
- 3 bedrooms (2 on 1st floor, 1 on 2nd floor being converted loft)
- 1 combined kitchen / dining room (ground floor)
- 1 reception room (ground floor - open plan to kitchen / dining room)
- 1 hallway / staircase (ground floor to 2nd floor)
- All interior walls, woodwork and ceilings to be painted exclusive of bathroom.
- Matt white paint for walls and ceilings, white eggshell for built in cabinets and other woodwork. Exact colour codes and gloss/sheen to be agreed.
- Offer should include two coatings of high quality paint and be inclusive of all paint/materials. We are looking at “Dulux Endurance” or a similar tough “washable” paint for all walls and Dulux eggshell for woodwork. Walls and ceilings are currently in a reasonably good state of maintenance, but offer should allow for minor plasterwork/repairs where deemed necessary. Note that ground floor is currently a medium-grey shade which could potentially require a basecoat before painting.
- Importantly, the property can be inspected on October 15. Work needs to commence on October 16, and should be finished no later than October 22.
