We have recently got a cat who has decided to tear up our wallpaper in a few places. We rent the property and clearly the landlord will be unimpressed if he finds out so we would be grateful if anyone could help us out. It's embossed wallpaper and fortunately there is a spare roll of it in the cupboard. It's just a few sections that will need taking down and re-wallpapering. Hopefully it's not going to be a big job but I have no clue how to wallpaper so I'd be grateful for some expert help. I had a call the next morning after placing my request and they came out to look at my house and give me a quote that night. I would thoroughly recommend this family business, they were very reasonably priced compared to others I had from the local area and did exactly what they said they would do in the time that they said they would. Very quick but without cutting any corners. I was delighted with the finish of the paintwork which was pretty much flawless... and how tidy they left everything. They even washed their cups! Planning to use them again soon.

Average size h/s/l for a 1920's 3 bed semi-d. Most of paper stripping already done. Walls in average condition, with cracks and small holes needing repair, especially around skirting and doors. Approx. 1sqm of plastering required first (it fell off!).. Paintwork needs rubbing down - skirting, architraves, spindles etc. Looking to replace with blown vinyl type paper + painted + gloss paintwork. Ceilings and above picture rail just needs re-painting.
Well pleased with the job. We have asked him to give us a quote for other work. Dependable, trustworthy, and a nice bloke.

2 bedrooms, approx total wall area to paint is 36m2. total ceiling area is approx 18m2. two doors/frames to gloss. walls / ceiling in good condition - a few holes (rawlplug) to fill - the usual!

Estimates/quotes sought for: Painting lounge, study, kichen, and two bedrooms - walls and ceilings. A few other areas may need touching up too. Some wallpaper will need to be removed, and some small cracks filled. There are a couple of areas where replastering might be required, but I would need your advice on that. None of the rooms are large (lounge is approx 3.5x5 metres, and that's the biggest). The house is currently mostly painted white, and I'd be keeping it like that.
Colin's work was of a very high standard, and he was always friendly, polite and professional. I can highly recommend him for any decorating work.

Really pleased with the work carried out by Craig & Co they were very friendly, professional and trustworthy. There rates were very reasonable and they fitted in with the timescale for the job even working late nights. I have already recommended them to a friend. Unsold Job, Updated Details : N.B. re. budget, have no idea how much it would cost, the only limitations are if we think it's a reasonable price to pay to get the job done well. Original : Hall, stairs and landing. 1930s house, years of layers of paint on woodwork. We want to restore back to wood the spindles, bannisters, dado rail etc. or at least strip down and re-paint. Also re-painting of walls, just painted no paper, possibly re-plastering/skimming needed I think.
