"The main work was the wallpapering of the stairs and hall way. This has been done to such a bad standard that the whole job will need to be completely redone. Each side of the wallpaper has gaps, were you can see the white wall underneath. If the paper doesn't have gaps then it overlaps. He was also meant to complete the work within 3 days, the work ran into 4 days, and still not fully completed. We asked that the bannister and handrail be stained, but we felt the papering was so bad that we could not trust him to do this simple job to standard. In total the one small area of the house will cost over a thousand to complete. Thats paying 375 to him, 125 costs of paper etc. Then double that to start the job all over again with someone that is capable of actually wallpapering. This has caused undue stress and cost to me and my family, especially seeing as my fiancee is 6 months pregnant and this work was to be completed before the baby is born."
