Updated : Easy access to all areas bar the one eave. Original : Rub down, prepare and stain uptairs windows (6 + bay) and all fascias (including garage). Woodstain already purchased. Fascias are one either end of garage, above 3 small dormers, above one small window and above bay, and three on house. One would definitely need a tower, gap too narrow for safe positioning of ladder.
Phil was efficient, prompt and the work carried out has been done to my satisafcation,. He also kept me fully informed about progress and his price was very reasonable. I would certainly recommend Phil for this type of work (external preparation of wood and staining of soffitts and fascias).

Great communication; very quick & clear. Visited to give us a quote & explained next steps. When I was uncontactable due to a problem with my phone (that S1 didn't know about), they tried various methods of getting in touch: voicemail messages, texts, and even calling round in person & leaving messages with our next door neighbour! Good work was completed on time. Only minor gripe was some old paint flakes left lying that I thought would have been cleared up. Would definitely use S1 again though.

The job is for the living room on a bungalow,,walls need stripping rendering and plastering and also the removal of a stone effect fire place then walls need to be plastered as it has been rewired, the ceiling needs to be stripped of chip paper then scimmed and decorated, skirting boards to be replaced, the window is going to be replaced so needs no work,the internal door needs to be replaced the room is empty and has easy access. All wallpapers will be supplied by us, You will need to supply all other items I.E Skirting , coving a new glass panel internal door paints and materials needed to finish the job. The job will be paid when the work is completed to 100% satisfaction, if the work is carried out to an acceptable level several other rooms will need a full make over.
