"Based on the rating questions - Yes, he did a good job. Yes he was good value for money. And yes, he was trustworthy. However, was he reliable? - No. Did he let us down? - Yes, three times. On two occasions he gave no warning that he wasn't going to turn up apart from a phone call the morning he was due to turn up. As a result, the job still isn't finished and we're looking into finding someone to complete the work. Would've liked to have given him a more positive recommendation as he's a nice bloke and the work that he did when he was here was fine. However with the job incomplete as a result of his lack of reliability I would advise caution to anyone thinking of using him."

"Simon and Lee did a great job decorating our lounge, hall stairs and landing. They did a LOT of preparation before starting the painting which meant that the finish in all areas was very high quality; they even replaced a piece of skirting board for us, which they purchased on our behalf. They arrived early each morning, despite having to travel a long distance, and just got on with the job. They cleared up at the end of the day so that there was little mess in the house, which was really good. The work was completed in the given timescale even though it meant working until very late on the last day. The price quoted for the work was great value, in fact we were so impressed we included a bonus in the payment. I would not hesitate to recommend Simon and Lee to anyone who wanted a professional high quality decorating job done in their home. The price quoted for the work was very reasonable"
