Nick Good was first to ring me and immediately available to give an estimate which was within my range. He was very pleasant to deal with, and reliably completed the job to schedule I would use him again

I have a small three bedroom terraced house in GU2 which requires the hal, stairs and landing to be decorated. It entails preparation of the wood work (undercoating and glossing), together with two coats of emulsion paint on the walls and ceiling. There are five doors to be glossed plus the balustrade and skirting. All paint will be suppplied.
Rod was very reliable, came when he said he would and kept in contact throughout the job as we dont live at the property this was appreciated. We had the hall, stairs and landing decorated together with the lounge. His work was of very good quality and the price was very reasonable. Overall we are very pleased - well done Rod!

Russell is like the decorator in your dreams. Always on time: you could literally set your watch.by him. Works to a really high standard and takes pride in his work. Add to that: pleasant, completely reliable and easy to work with. Best of all, the rooms in my home that he did look amazing. I don't do this often, but I can't recommend him highly enough.

small room in the loft with one door and 3 small doors leading to the left they do not need painting. what is required is removing current wallpaper, fill wholes, make good and paint or reaaply new wallpaper.
good job but because he did not work full days it dragged on little bit. i will definitely hire him for aother job but will put duration of the completion as a condition.

Painter urgently wanted to paint 4 external doors and other internal work
The work quoted for was completed in a single day but iwe doubt that one coat of primer and 2 gloss coats could be applied to external doors in October between the hours of 08.00 and 15.30. One door was even painted which had faults in it and now has to be returned to the manufacturer with the added problem of painting a replacement door at this time of year In addition, they failed to paint the door frames - not even bothering to wipe them down

I need someone to wallpaper 2/3 rooms in a bungalow just outside Guildford
Steve can do excellent painting and papering unfortunately it was other things that let down his work, after putting up lining paper and then painting it he then added filler to corner areas which show up badly (and now need painting over again), he charged me £100 a day but was so slow it cost more than planned in the end, when left a written note to buy some more paint specifically eggshell he bought satinwood but could not explain why, he painted the loo with same emulsion as hall which he wasn't asked to do and got paint all over clean sanded floor which now will need re-sanding. Basically there are areas unfinished still and I feel very discouraged.

Wallpapering. I've got the wallpaper, paste etc... It litterally just needs cutting to size and fitting.. I'm just looking for a few quotes to see if it's worth getting it done by a professional as appose to doing it myself and possibly not getting a better finish.. The room is about 2m x 3m max. There is one window which is over half of the wall. I would assume that it would take a couple of hours to do properly. The room is very small and it cannot be cleared so there is a lot of things to move around but I will try my best to move things out of the way.
